DISCLAIMERS:
-I made these videos to document my experience eating the “The Lion Diet”, a strict version of the Carnivore diet that only allows for ruminant meat, salt, and water. I am not a nutrition expert or doctor, but I hope you will find my story enjoyable and informational, as well as the other content I create.

I never buy from Walmart. When the ingredients say Beef and natural ingredients ? What the heck is natural ingredients?
E. Coli apparently 😅
Always check the label, even in the fresh meat section. Usually frozen meat has no additives for some reason.
Walmart is owned by CHYNA. No thanks!!
A friend of mine works at a cow milking place, whatever those are called. He said they test their milk and it tests negative for some specific bacteria, but the people buying the milk have been complaining about it having the bacteria. So, they started selling off the cows. Idk if it's another way of getting rid of our beef supply, avoiding fake fires
Factory Farmed Beef problem not independent Ranchers
Yikes that Cargill plant is less then a mile from my house but I only eat my purchased 1/2 cow ground beef!
Wait until you hear about bagged lettuce, oats, and more plant foods having been recalled repeatedly over the years. I’m not too worried about something like this, it’s not common. I’d like to know a number, how many plant recalls vs. how many raw meats. Glad you shared, I hadn’t heard about the recall.
its interesting because the farmer been blew the whistle that its not us beef making it in stores in us sooo im wondering who beef are they claiming thats been shipped to walmart thats sick
Grocery store beef has pink slime, less nutrients, antibiotics, and hormones. Buy from your local ranchers.
Very few people are as fortunate as you and don’t have any local farmers. Glad you’re able to do that and hopefully in the future everyone will be able to do that😊
No local ranchers in big cities
My local farmer is triple the price.
What if I can't find a local rancher in my area?? I would love to do that!!
Grocery store beef is excellent even if it isnt as good as what you get.
The Butcher at my local MAJOR grocery chain told me MUCH of the red meat is now coming from China but they are not required to put on label "made in China" because they buy in bulk and repack separately and state it's made in the USA. We all know what comes from China, don't we.
Funny. I just bought bought some ground beef yesterday. I was at the Walmart parking lot and decided not to go in there just for ground beef. Ended up at ralphs which lead to some hood deals on steaks too!
Always cook Ground Beef Clear Through the Middle
My own country Australia I've been eating raw minced beef since I was a child. Usually fairly lean mince and prefer from a butcher not supermarket. If it looks good, smells good I'm happy. Not eating it often nowadays compared to as a child.
Great content!
Steaks > Cakes
🥩 > 🎂
Just read yesterday that Blackrock owns 4 of the top meat producers/manufactures.
You look very healthy! I've been transitioning to the carnivore diet x 2 mths (don't want to let go of my desserts yet) but am very glad to see so much good info on youtube😊
Imo if you are buying mass produced groung beef and not cooking it to 160 degrees you are asking for trouble
Factory ground beef are shit , ground beef is the main staple of my diet but I only buy it freshly grounded
@bernhardjordan9200 Unfortunately, not everyone can afford quality ground beef.
I would be willing to bet there are more people on carnivore who have serious budget constraints than there are not.
@@rollandklontz I really do believe that, for me eating this way has been a money saver, and I'm not even talking about medicines.
There's a big fundamental difference, where I live , Campinas-SP/Brazil, meet is way cheaper than in the US and the usual here is freshly grounded beef. Every supermarket has a butcher shop section and cheap meat here is grass fed grain fed stuff is more high end
- Generic ground beef $2.75/kg $1.25/lbs
- Ribeye steak, choice can be found for $5.52/kg $2.38/lbs the 4 to 6 kg piece , usual price $6.90/kg $3.13/lbs
- Ribeye steak, prime $8.86/kg $4.02/lbs, at swift store
- Brisket $4.93/kg $2.24
- Cow's heart $1.38/kg 63¢/lbs ( I eat it and give it to my cats) , the dog gets salmon's head 39¢/kg 18¢/lbs
- beef liver $1.78/kg 81¢/lbs
- Picanha/tender sirloin $9.86/kg $4.48/lbs
- Filet mignon $11.83/kg $5.37/lbs
- Butter $8.88/kg $4.03/lbs
- Bacon, the whole side $4.73/kg $2.15/lbs
- Eggs $1.92/dozen
- Fresh 100% ham toscan style sausage $3.36/kg $1.53/lbs
- Fresh sardines filet $5.13/kg 2.33/lbs
- Mozzarella cheese $5.92/kg 6.69/lbs
- All you can eat buffet, Brazilian steakhouse good quality $21.7
@bernhardjordan9200 you are right there's is a big difference.
Everyone knows fresh gound beef, and grass fed beef is substantially better, but not everyone can afford the $9.99 lbs for ground beef. Let alone the $15 a lb for rib eye. So baragin priced mass produced ground beef at $4 a lb is all they can afford
@@rollandklontz Most of our New Zealand prices are typically very expensive but at least I can regularly get good NZ grass fed beef steak for around US$4 a lb. I can't afford rib eye!
Thanks for the update, Dante! I did hear about this recall.
Hi Dante, Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you
Thank you.
OMG. Vital information!!
Thank you for sharing this it’s very important
I don't buy it I think they're just trying to empty out the stores and pretend that we don't have food
I could see that.
I have to agree...they are wanting to move everyone toward plants 😞
Interesting! Until now, all the scare tactics were with plants (spinach, spinach, and other plants picked by the people nancy pollution said we "need to 'pick' our vegetables", and her... did I just repeat myself?)
Good information Dante 👍 thanks so much for sharing 🥩🔥
My grandson got E Coli when he was 5 we almost lost him
Excellent Health Information!!! Thank you sharing !!!🎉💪🥩❤️❤️❤️
Can somebody tell me how the FDA slapped a label on this stuff and then re-call it? Are we sure it’s E. coli or are they recalling for another reason really? Or are they admitting the completely SUCK at their job??
Someone didn't put enough bleach in the meat.
They are also in a lawsuit for lying about weight on meat products. So you buy 4lbs worth of meat, and it really weights 2.2 pounds or similar.

😎👍🏽
There are no ranchers in my area so does anyone know what to do in this instance?
Not applicable to Arizona
Unprocessed is the best.
QQQstarted the lion diet May 1....only question Ihave is....how do you cook the meat without fat?? I underfstand beef, salt and water....but how does one actually cook the meat?? I thot fat was a main component of the carnivore diet...brains need fat.... ive been using rendered beef (tallow) and organic ghee....all the vids ive seen say just meat salt and water...but none have addressed how to cook it...don;'t have an air fryer....HELP!! btw my why is to heal hashimotos and then lose approx 40 lbs. thanks
I have many videos cooking meat, but I was where you were when I started. The air fryer was a godsend! I’m still pretty much only proficient with the air fryer. As for grilling, cast iron cooking, etc. there are tons of videos on CZcams for cooking meat, just remember that if you’re on Lion Diet you’ll want to avoid any ingredients in the cooking process other than sea salt of some kind. Also with the air fryer there’s no need for oil or butter or fat for cooking. Tallow is great for greasing the pan/grill in other cooking situations (Wagyu tallow even comes in a spray version at South Chicago Meat Packing Co.)
@@FerrignoFreedom thanks for responding!! i love eating just meat-- read that lion diet is especially good for autoimmune(in my case hashimotos)...first started carnivor at end of feb...and my antibodies dropped from 2300 to around 900 in the first 30 days..and my ANA(antinulclear antibodies dropped below Zero--My doc was very happy....yay!! seems like watvhing the vids on cooking those ribeyes etc used so much more fat...I am rendering the fat from newly purchased qrtr....love the taste...I started looking at the airfryers....ay have to bit the bullet unless I just keep using my cast iron skillet knowing it will take more cleaning...ANYWAY....thanks again. roar on!!!
I don't use an air fryer. Most of our local meat is very good but normally has a lot of the fat trimmed off. I cook in a pan with tallow and often have a slice of cold butter with it. Occasionally I use some grass fed ghee but not often. I'm not lion diet, so can be a bit flexible.
@@trail.blazer thanks for responding...i have a good cst iron skillet and a heavy stainless stelel one...since im pretty much a newbie to coarnivore...i remember watching MANY vids by well known carnivores saying be sure to get enuf fat...like a stick of butter/tallow a day... and twice as much fat as protein.....so it has been hard learning that we can forget all the lies we were told about the dangers of fat in our diet. and now with the lion diet we are back t o very little fat again...sort of confusing....Im glad what you are doing is working for you..stay the course!
@@deedledaddledeedledaddle722 That might be too much fat. See how much you can tolerate. I found 60g of butter a day plus some extra tallow (or bacon) and a bit of fat on meat is good. I know because if I eat too much more than that it has a _slightly_ negative effect on poop being too soft. I do mean slightly, so I think I've found my sweet spot.
A stick of butter a day is what some of the influencers do but how big is the stick? Our sticks are 500g so that would be way too much, despite my seeing some influencers eating that size.
When it comes to protein, you possibly already realise that around a quarter of red meat is protein. For me that means around 300g of beef is good and I vary between 250g and 400g.
😆😅😅🤔🤨😏😎
good evening from england uk xx
