    I have been doing Keto for 2 years and started carnivore on March 17th 2023. I am feeling absolutely amazing. Joint pains are gone, and I no longer need to go to the chiropractor. Indigestion is gone as well. I started doing press-ups, and in the first week, I did 35 per day, which was 5 more than I usually do. I have steadily increased the number every day and did 70 a few days ago! I can't believe it!
    What I added was boron, which was suggested by, Dr. Suresh Khidwadker ,one of the many doctors I follow on CZcams. That took it to another level. I am 67 years young and will never eat vegetables again. No carbs, absolutely no carbs. I have not put sugar in my coffee or tea for at least 40 years.
    Another effect of this diet is that the plaque on my teeth has completely gone. After about a week, I could feel it coming off, a very strange sensation. Additionally, I no longer have bleeding gums. I only take thyroxine for my underactive thyroid. I hope to get off of it over the next year on this diet

      I’ll look at Dr Kidwadker about boron.
      I’m a couple months into full carnivore but still having BIG problems with electrolytes. I take LOTS of salt, potassium and magnesium, but it’s still not helping.
      If you can, try Armor Thyroid instead of thyroxine. Armor is natural. I could tell a difference when I switched to it.
      Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing!🎉

Like you, I first took on a low-carb lifestyle losing 51 pounds (Oct 2018-April 2019). Slowly, my insulin resistance and addiction to "Atkins" treats and artificial sweeteners screwed me up. I put 27 pounds back on my body. Now, I think I may be onto a new path. I love meat (preferably steak) and eggs. I'm feeling better already. Clothes are fitting better. Brain fog is clearing. I used to work in a coffee\donut shop (Tim Horton's) here in Toronto Canada and we were permitted to eat all the baked goods we wanted without charge... I was constantly eating donuts and other crap all day long. Looking back I wonder how I survived such a horrible diet. Probably the worst thing you can eat! - I started the Carnivore diet years later due to health reasons and never looked back. Not only saved my life; it gave me an optimal body and mind. I can't believe how good I feel these days! - I get it. This really needs to catch on... Thanks to videos like this the word is really starting to get out... I think so many of us are so worn out from bad eating habits, addictions, sleep deprivation, money issues, working long hours etc that those instant meals are just a comfort and a minute of "easy button" in our hectic lives.
    The thing is if you start eating the right foods you'll gain energy and balance to better be able to deal with hectic things in your life. You'll be able to think through things and act in an aggressive manor towards a solution instead of worrying all day and becoming paralyzed. You'll be able to exercise and become fit. You'll be able to sleep better with 45lbs less fat and liquid around your abdomen, chest and neck. You'll have less inflammation and pain all over. At least that's all been my experience. Suddenly your life becomes easier to deal with. All you have to do is get through that first bit of time, which can vary, and stick to it. Carnivore was the way for me.

    Thanks again Dante. I like the way you insert little snippets of Russell Brand into your video just to back up and point out specifically what you’re saying. In fact letting him say it in his words. Not being afraid to expose another viewpoint onto your website even if you don’t agree with his food choices. That’s bold brother. It also , I think, builds a little more secure feeling about your channel and who you are. Thankfully though by now those of us that Have watched you have a good idea of who you are. Grateful for who you are and who you have become. It’s cool to watch the changes. I think I finally have the courage and everything I need just to go whole hog (or cow rather ) into this thing, so to speak. I think using snippets of others information and videos is a good way to build in content.

    I agree with almost all of what you say about the carnivore diet except OMAD. OMAD made me a prediabetic. A1c= 6.1 You see any of the excess protein you eat gets converted into glucose. (the body cannot store protein) I had to go back to 3 smaller meals a day....still carnivore, just not all at once.

    • @jdrobison1967
      @jdrobison1967 Před rokem +2

      From what I understand, it shouldn't work that way. Your body will produce the amount of glucose that it needs based on demand, not on supply. Perhaps you didn't give yourself enough time to adjust and were still overproducing insulin, leading to an increase in blood glucose, which would have tapered off over time as your pancreas adjusted to the higher protein without carbohydrates. Same if you were suddenly eating a lot more fats - they break down and form a glucose molecule.

    I would have jumped on the kickstart day one purchase if I hadn't gotten the black friday special on the Anova Precision oven. The advantage of yours is that it is smaller - both space requirements and making one meal at a time for very small households. I have traditional sous vide and while pretty darned easy also - and uses less power - you have to take the extra searing step which means more time and clean up-- still a very good way to go and more versatile when it comes to doing both small and larger batches of things.

    One thing I noticed regarding sweeteners. I check my BP and blood sugar a lot, especially after working out. I only have one kidney and adrenal gland so my BP will get too low if I don't pay attention. If I work out with just water my BP will get to 90/55 glucose is 5.4 and I can only go an hour. If I use unsweetened electrolytes, I can go two hours but BP is 95/60 and glucose is 5.4. If I use sweetened electrolytes (LMNT) I can crush a 2hour workout, my BP is105/70 and I feel fantastic. My glucose is 3.8 or 3.9. So the insulin signal from the artificial sweetener lets me use more blood sugar. That is the only time I use anything that isn't carnivore.

  • @anthonyshillingford848
    @anthonyshillingford848 Před rokem +2

    Great video, just one comment though. The release of Insulin is not, in and of itself "dangerous" - the danger is what the insulin is processing. If there is an insulin release brought on by sweetener alternatives, the body WILL not go into "storage mode" as there's nothing to store.....
    Also, please bear in mind, insulin is released whenever we eat, regardless of the macro nutrients being consumed. This is why intermittent fasting is so important....no food, no storage mode!

    My escalating healthy distrust in government and media since 2020 sent me to a very bad place early on, but the Lord turned that around, and actually brought me to question other things that i may have been taught about my health, which was just being used to feed the pockets of the elites, such as the food pyramid.

    Our first TV dinner was just after my parents divorced when I was 11 in 1982. Before that it was ALWAYS a home cooked dinner with whole foods. The more divorce & premarital sex there is, the more big government & big corporations & investors profit. Sad but true. If romantic integrity was again mainstream culture, then people could be so much healthier and children much more protected. Before when children were raised by their parents not daycare, there were zero school shootings even though there were guns in the schools and in the cars/trucks in the school parking lots even visible through the open windows.
