It is wonderful to see someone who is able to enjoy life and to be able to provide a meal. Once the garden comes in, you guys will enjoy fresh vegetables.
I’ve been jugging all my life and what I’ve found works all the time is Oscar Meyer Cheese hotdogs and only Oscar Meyer cheese hotdogs. You cut the hotdogs into 4 and let them sit out after cut for a day or 2. They smell bad but work like a charm.
Also cut the tail off and let them bleed out taste way better
Fry them "Cats" !!!! Nothing better than fried catfish, hushpuppies, coleslaw and french fries. Another Bluegill catch n' cook is about due isn't it?? (Lol) Thanks for taking us on another cool adventure !!!!
Lived up in Fort Worth for a while, back home now in South East Texas. Loved that Brazos River, just about the best thing about that area.
Another great video sir. Thank you very much! Maybe try letting the catfish marinate in the Italian dressing for a couple hours before cooking when when you try it again. I did a ny strip like that one time, and it was amazing. How are the chickens and garden doing? Can't wait for the next video! Try marinading it in the Italian dressing overnight, I've heard that it's supposed to be great with both chicken and fish

Looks like an awesome time! Not sure it would be good with fish but maybe give it a try. Last year I started putting Italian dressing and chicken in a vacuum bag. Sealing it and either leaving it in the fridge or freezer. Bar none the best Italian dressing seasoned food ever.

I have a recipe you have to try on your catfish You can Cut it up or leave the whole But them in a container or if you cut it up into nugent's You use a gallon ziploc bag But cover them in French's mustard And put it in the refrigerator over night Don't know what batter ya'll We use The Fish fry Batter You can batter them and drop 'em in the friar It is amazing I hope to see it in one of your videos Like you always say Eat good

I love deep fried catfish fillets, but I love em 10X better since I started bleeding them out. While on the stringer, cut the tails off and throw em back in the water. Wait 5 minutes, then fillet em. You’ll notice much whiter, cleaner meat and they taste so much better!
