@noe_ 956 probably because it's a slow growing game fish that tastes super fishy,but I cant speak for anyone but myself.its a matter of opinion I guess.i only eat walleye,a fish that can be eaten without the need of drowning out fishy taste with spices
@@AC-mr7is Bluegill and Walleye are my favorite. Bass is too gamey for me imo. But I get why they want the small ones out of the pond.

If the water temp is under 65 bass is really good, especially smallies, but over it tends to get mushy if you dont catch them deep

The best way I had bass was over an open fire with no seasonings I get it and get it and kept the head on and ate the eyeballs as well and also the rose sack and just over an open fire and I cooked the egg sac on a hot rock and it was great and my buddy said that's the best way he's ever had bass as well, but I do want to try it fried as well because I think fried fish is always the best.

Yup. There ain’t nothing like a grilled bass. I usually put lemon garlic salt and pepper and wrap in foil and put it on the grill. Best thing ever.

Next time you fry up fish filets, coat in mustard then soak in Franks Red Hot Original Hot Sauce for about 2 minutes before you throw it in the batter. Game changer for fish fries!

I know its not common down there, but up here in Ontario most people that fish bass eat them as well, especially smallmouth. Maybe its the colder water that makes them taste better, I really don't know, but they're in my top 3 for eating

I have his seasoning,,,a bit pricey but very good, pricey and can’t buy again because the $10 shipping it don’t feel right for just a standard size shaker, but it’s a good blend.

bass is too fishy. they make good fertilizer though.(no i do not take lake bass and use them as fertilizer my buddy has a pond and he wanted a lot of the small bass taken out)

Ever had walleye is really good, I bleed em out then throw them Frank's red hot then into flour or fish fry if you ever get the chance try it bro. Also heard that resipce works great on other fish
