The world always needs entertainers to make us laugh and cry but because many stars come and go in the entertainment industry it’s easy to forget when one of your favorites passes away.

Fact about Lynne Thigpen: She was also the voice of Luna the Moon in the children's TV show Bear in the Big Blue House (1997 - 2006). The sudden death of Lynne, led to production being put on hiatus for three years, along with a planned film. In 2005 two afters her passing Tara Mooney who played Shadow on the show said in an interview with Ray D'Arcy on Today FM "The crew's hearts just weren't in it anymore". I find that pretty sad. That show was my childhood and finding out now that Lynne passed away in 2003 just broke my heart. R.I.P. Lynne. You will always be Luna the Moon to me.

"Whitfield's doctors reported him "cancer free"... his remission proved to be temporary. Doctors will NEVER say someone is "cancer free", and ALL remissions are temporary. The best they will do is say there's no evidence of cancer, and give you odds for a 5 year survivability. But if you're a cancer survivor like I am), know that those cells are still flowing through your body, waiting for the opportunity to land somewhere and start anew. Just be thankful for every extra day you have.
