  • 80's sitcoms were a cheerful, frivolous way to spend an hour on a weeknight. Characters' problems were neatly solved, and traumatic events rarely transpired...at least onscreen. On the other side of the camera, 80's sitcom stars were often messy and troubled, especially as their fame faded and their money and job opportunities dried up. Drug abuse, sexual assault, robbery, suicide - the sad stories of former 1980's sitcom stars has all of this and more. Whether you remember these actors for these roles, or are catching up on these twisted tales for the first time, these are 80's sitcom stars accused of serious crimes.

He didnt want an autograph from Gary Coleman . She was antagonizing him and calling a failed child star . The autograph was an act of mockery . Gary gets a bad rap . Gary worked hard as a security guard and would make lighthearted humor of his situation . Gary didnt deserve the ridicule he often got. This needs to be said !
