Mr Ellwein, absolutely love what you’re doing with the DRM450! Can’t imagine I’d have been able to find that pinched wire.

Thanks Dan, I found a few things today and will make a video at some point. Lots of subject matter for future video. This time the tune had some quirks that I did not see initially. They had the firing order as an LS engine. They had the transmission as a 4L60E. It's running a bit better even today but still not perfect. More details soon.

Can’t wait to see how this turns out. Great work as usual!

The LS1 firing order is 18726543 but the gen 1 firing order is 18436572, You cannot change the PCM hard coded order that the wires fire, so to run a gen 1 with an LS1 PCM you have to swap the wires for the coils and the injectors with 4 to 7 and 2 to 3.
The injectors are assigned to O2 sensors with the bank select table, 0 and 1 corresponds to bank 1 and bank 2, so in that table where you see ABCDEFGH, the numbers will be 01011010 for an LS1 and 01101001 for a gen 1 engine.
Firing order in 0411PCMs is only for misfire reference.

Sounds good. That's why I verified that the wiring was proper and also that answers why it still ran the same with the LS firing order in the tune.. ..(just for misfire reference). Now it has proper 18436572 firing order in the tune for that. The as-found tune did have the bank assignments proper. so I did not have to mess with that. O2's are much more even as of today and the right side is switching nicely just like the driver's side. Still split but not as bad. Going to have the injectors serviced and probably do open loop for idle.

Can you please tell me what I would have to do to my 1992 corvette to run a LS 411 PCM and get rid of my options-spark?

@@pitdog71 I wish I had the knowledge but I don't know the wiring of the 1992 Corvette. The end goal would be to re-pin the computer wiring into a 2002 Camaro PCM (0411) also known as P01. Then get a 24x crank reluctor and 1x can reluctor/sensor combo..
