  • The Time Value of Money (TVM) sub-menu of the Finance menu. This is a very powerful tool for calculating interest rates, payments, and future values.

Cool. I wondered what you could do with this calculator ^^
Do you happen to know what the IR interface is used for? (its in the battery compartment)

HP sold a separate printer accessory and you could use the IR port to print your calculations on it. Perhaps even your programs.

@@west Thanks! This is a really cool device. My wife brought one home for me after her coworker wanted to throw it away. Not that I have a real use for it, but I really like old calculators.

Really good training. I bought a used one on eBay as well. Where is there a good pdf or eBook of problems and solutions for financial problems. I've done mortgages for years and looking for other financial problems to work on. Thanks for the great video. Not too many tutorials on CZcams with this HP 17BII calculator.

HP still has the manual in PDF listed on their website, that would be a great place to start for examples (it's where I pulled a lot of my material from).

Aside from the solver menu, no.

@@west ok, because it looks like it runs on the same hardware as the 42S, with different OS.
