I gotta question , have you ever changed the clutch basket and billet on a kx 100. If so do you use an impact to loosen up that middle bolt ? If so what what cup size is it ?
You should have lapped the valves and done valve stem seals on that replacement head, being used there no telling what kind of condition it's actually in unless you take it apart. It sounded good but it's always worth taking the time to lap the valves and clean all the seats thoroughly, reduces the chance for a leaking valve and give you a chance to check for cracks or signs of a burn/leaking valve.
@@Crosshatch1212 alot of people actually skip that step and are too lazy to take the valves out, these little dirtbike heads are actually kind of difficult to get the locks and retainers out and back in so alot of people just send it and slap the head on in unknown condition.

Why did he need a new head??? If valves leak you could try to cut them and 99% it would work. I mean cutting is cheap, and new head is like 400$. Why? On the other hand, if you buy used head, you must also cut valves in it. This is it about head. Another question is about cylinder, why not bore it? it is cheaper and better rather than buying another one. I am not saying you are doind things wrong, I just would like to know the reason for these moves?
Your just making sure the filler gauge slides thru smoothly at top measurement instead of actually measuring the distance. What if it's too short of distance? Crap Job man. Sorry
Vee the mechanic,cameraman,and teacher😂😂😂
Dude your the fucking man don’t stop what you do… from Long Island ny wee see you out here
I love these videos!!!
I would recommend you gasoline to check valves water cause rust and is not flamabkr

Couldn't you of had the old cylinder re bored and bigger piston instead of replacing the cylinder 🤷♂️
You could send it to millennium and have them replate/fix it for a couple hundred dollars
That piston and cylinder were used if you look
