  • I took the old lame looking blinkers off the bike and replaced them with these really cool led ones. The fronts act as running lights for more visibility. I also replaced the headlight bulb with a 6.5K led bulb so that its way brighter than the original bulb.

    That red wire you left on the rear signals are for your brake lights. If you splice it into your OEM brake light wires you can utilize these turn signals as additional brake lights for additional visibility.

      So when splicing into the brake light wires. Which one do you hook the red wires from the turn signals to?

    My plugs are different. How do you change the wire? It's not plug and play for me....

    great video! how do these turn signals hold up over time? I'm thinking of buying them, but the reviews say they die very quickly

      I know for a fact that they lasted a year and a half no problem. And for the price point that's a win. I sold the bike though at the beginning of this year, but I'd be confident in saying that they still probably work just fine.

    Did you need the TST indicator adapter set to mount these turn signals?

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před 2 lety +2

      No I did not. I saw where a lot of people were recommending them before I installed them on the bike, however, they work fine without them. I had no issues.

    Hi mister, nice video! One small question. Do the brake lights work in the rear? My FZ-07 2015 only has 2 wires for each indicator, i suppose i have to tap into the brake light wires.

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před 2 měsíci

      My brake lights work. You might have to tap it in and do some trial and error to get the right combination.

    I tried to install these yesterday from OEM front blinkers. When removing OEM front blinker it is just the big hole where the OEM rubber end snaps into. How did you mount the 10mm bolt end of these after market blinker? Did you fab a plate and drill a hole in it for the new blinker?

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před rokem +1

      You can buy a rubber washer and a metal washer of the same size and use it as the backing so that the bolt holds. Or I have seen where ppl have used homemade plastic backings to hold the bolt and not damage the housing.

    The attachment for the turning lights, did you made it? Because i can't do by myself 😂

      @bossadamsgarage  Před 2 měsíci

      Nope, everything I used was already on the bike or came with the lights.

    How do you wire up the day time running lights, as I've only managed to connect the indicators/blinkers? 😁

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před rokem

      The new turn signals I installed were made to work as both a running light and blinkers. Some blinkers are not made that way. Thats why I chose to go with these over other options.

      @@bossadamsgarage Hi thanks for the reply, I did purchase the blinkers with the day time running lights. I'm just unsure how to connect them up, which wire goes to where haha

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před rokem

      If you've got an FZ-O7 like mine, just follow the color matching I did in the video (since the wires are not going to be the same on the blinkers as they are on the bike) and it should work! If not you might have to switch the wires around until you find the right combination.

    Hello man. I recently bought the same pair of led turn signals that have running lights (with 3 wires, 1 negative, 1 for the signals and 1 for day lights).
    I tried to install them but my mt07 2016 bike's stock connector has only 2 pins. Is there a solution to this? How did yours have 3? Thanks a lot to you or to anyone who can help.

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I would look at TSTs website and see if they have an adapter you could purchase. I'm not sure why mine already had the 3 wires, it could have been a cheap adapter the previous owner already put on my bike but that's what I would recommend.

      @@bossadamsgarage Is a relay necessary to get them to work properly? I bought the exact same stuff you did and ordered the TST industries 3 to 3 adapter you mentioned since I needed it but am hoping it's just plug and play from there.
