- Roblox is definitely going wrong. The pink screen of death glitch is back, there is now a flashing frozen screen glitch, and apparently the red screen of death also exists. Random game crashing is increasing & some accessories are disappearing, becoming smaller, or simply getting content deleted!

I'm guessing all of these problems are caused by the new anti cheat they added. It's causing a bunch of problems for a lot of people. Also, I play Roblox on Linux using Wine, but it looks like they're blocking people from playing on Wine now, so I'm not allowed to play Roblox anymore. I'm probably just going to have to end up leaving if they don't stop blocking it.

It's probably due to the new anti-cheat, I know exploiters are annoying but lagging, crashing, and having flashing problems is worst and more annoying than exploiters.

also, i think the reason you cant see your avatar's like body or something is roblox doesnt show some parts of your avatar so your character's body will not be glitching out the clothing

For the “flashing screen of death”, I have encountered that quite a few times, but it was on a very old device. So far, I’ve never encountered it on a newer device. So maybe it’s just low memory or because the device is too old.

The 3d clothing one is easily explainable as the avatar editor preview has been buggy ever since 2014 i believe. It's a mere rendering bug and will not be a problem in games.
I have the flash glitch really often and the pink screen of death sometimes, but the pink screen of death always comes with the flashes. I also saw the clothing glitch. Nobody had hair or accessories anymore

Minecraft also had this pink glitch issue, it only happened on servers when it had a texture overload from so many players and also involved their rendering engine. Roblox probably uses a similar rendering engine and it experiences texture overload due to many players resulting in this.

If u get the pink screen of death, everyone else in the server is (last night I was on a call with my friend playing roblox and roblox starts glitching/freezing? and she got the same thing at the same time then later we both got the pink screen at the same)
I haven't been experiencing the crashed thing while playing for a long time now but recently it just happened one time so hopefully it won't continue further.
Edit: Oh and about the accessories on your avatar glitch thing. I've been experiencing some of my layered clothing are not working inside games like they're completely invisible inside games for example the holdable flower layered clothing or even the pet layered clothing they just vanished inside games and it was working before, it's just these recent couple weeks that this weird glitch is happening.

I started having trouble with roblox lately... Just today, when I got into roblox, the game would stutter a lot (Didn't happen to me and started all of the sudden), and after like a minute or less, the game would just crash. No message or anything, it would just entirely freeze for like two seconds and close. Please help...
the problem that happened at 1:00 is happening to me everytime i join a game. Everything runs fine and it launches fine but after like 10 seconds it freezes and crashes without the normal crashing popup that says "roblox has crashed - please try again". :(
same, it’ll load completely fine but then after 10 seconds it’ll freeze and kick me out of the client immediately. i can’t even open the roblox app, it’ll do the same. at first i thought it was because of something i had downloaded , like a extension or something. i deleted my fps unblocked + shaders, i even deleted my Roblox chrome extensions. nothing worked.

Thank you for the flash/strobe warning! I have suffered from migraines for over 40 years and these types of things cause me great pain.
I play on iPad and issue I’m having is my screen freezes and then spazzes out. I have to do a hard close to get out of the game. I have deleted ROBLOX app and reinstalled it and that doesn’t work. This started happening on Sunday when my ROBLOX app updated but doesn’t happen in every game thus far. I’ve also gotten the random memory low warning on screen which is weird because I have a ton of memory left on my IPad. So many players that I know and that play on iPad/iPhone are getting the memory low warning. I’m thinking somehow the last update doesn’t want to play nice with iOS systems and ROBLOX really needs to get it together and get it fixed. It’s bad enough not to be able to play ROBLOX games but even worse is when players have paid money for in game items and can’t play. Players that pay for items in ROBLOX are what keep the lights on at ROBLOX so they need to get better lightbulbs and keep the platform playable for everyone at all times. No excuse for these types of issues. It’s 2023 and technology is more advanced than what ROBLOX seems to be using which is just sad

To fix the glitches for mobile just close and reopen the app. It will keep coming but that will allow to you to stop it.
I'm in the roblox hunger games community, we make maps and host them like the actual hunger games (weird, IK) but for some reason, the weapons we use and food keep glitching and make the weapons stop working, or entirely disappear from inventories with no way to fix it i think.
I remember like 3 weeks ago when I was playing MM2, the entire server kept freezing. Around 5 of us in the same area all had our games frozen, and after 15 seconds we unfroze and all died because the murderer wasn't frozen. It happened again the next day, and the entire server froze in place. It wasn't like last time though, you could move around and everyone was stuck in place.
I thought I was gonna get internet disconnected but the game went back to normal shortly after. Before that, though, my screen would just glitch tf out sometimes when I played roblox. The screens' resolution would get cut in half, but I was still fullscreen so half of my screen was just purely white and my game froze. It was really hard to close the game and took a while with task manager.
Kind of ironic that this only started happening after the anti cheat rolled out. Something supposed to help roblox is ruining it

Fact: if your Roblox assets are currently loading slowly for some people, these are the reasons why:
-Using VPN could cause internet connections making ISP almost impossible to connect to your Roblox Client app ( whether you are using a fast or slow service provider ). If you open shift + f5, you should you the fps with network receive at the top left side and if the colour is green, it should load as fast as expected. I recommend disabling VPNs from either your phone or your computer.
-Try resetting your router, it should make ISP work and you can tweak settings back to normal after the factory reset.
-Lastly, it might have something to do with Roblox servers or Roblox games from the developers themselves. However, it's unsure since we won't know exactly when and where it comes from.
Recently, about 2 days ago, any game I join, the assets will not load, games with loading screens take forever to load in, games without loading screens put me in the game but everyones textures and models are not there. I've tried reinstalling roblox among other things and nothing has worked. This all happened after roblox went 64 bit for the byfron anti cheat thing (yes im also using 64bit system), hopefully they fix this soon enough
The "unexpected" error has started showing up a few months ago for me and has only gotten worse
I only got the Low Memory Warning (on iPhone mobile) with the newest Twice Square free item. My guess/theory is that the switch from the item detector to note post for the pigtails was a way around the error.

I started playing my session today, 14/6/2023 and whenever i play after a short interval roblox freezes and closes.
I'm from Australia and when I'm playing with my friends, we just randomly get disconnected because we "lost internet connection" when we still had perfectly fine internet.
It's strange since we all get disconnected at the exact same time.
And this only started like a week or 2 ago.
Happens only on my phone for me, on pc it doesnt show that and has continues for 2 months

its just specific games which has too many people either trying to join at once, or too many people in 1 server (such as more people than the server size limit, which occurs when multiple people fully load at the exact same time)
Just swipe the game up (don’t close it) then go back down again and it works most the time
This is for the weird shaking and flashing glitch

Tip for pink screen of death (iOs and iPadOs only): if you exit roblox and wait 2-3 seconds for allowing the game to render again without getting kicked by the game, the pink screen goes away!

@@DccToon I have used a samsung tablet before. The android version of Roblox kicks you from the game to the homepage instantly after you go to the homescreen of the tablet.
mine was: whenever i use my main account, the game wont start and says "your windows is too outdated" but when i use my dummy account, everything is just fine and its very annoying

sometimes my roblox launcher won't launch a game i wanna play and i have to search it up, open it THEN go into that game it's pretty annoying

Ive only been getting the frequent crashes, but they are usually only occuring when joining a game. It couldn't be the RAM overflowing, as I have 32 GB, not GPU incompatibility, as I have a generally modern graphiccs card, and really nothing else, as my computer is up-to-date in all aspects. We can't really do anything about this, we just have to wait for ROBLOX to fix the PC client stability. For mobile, my phone is hot garbage, but it runs fine so no data there.
TL;DR The errors are due to the app's instability, and are pretty random.

I'm pretty sure Roblox is still 32 bit and so there's a limit on how much RAM Roblox can use, the limit is 4 GB, and not only that but also there's an integer limit.
@@xenstence Task manager says it still is 32 bit at least, so I doubt it's 64 bit yet but Roblox IS planning on making it 64 bit though (I'm pretty sure at least)

Okay, recently the client did something that might be related to the crashes. The rendering must have messed up, because all the billboard text and highlighted objects were frame stacking (I don't know what it's actually called.) and it looked like the MS solitaire easter egg.
So is this related to roblox crashing and shutting down my laptop the moment i start it up?

This happened to me, the byfron anticheat is very annoying as whenever i try to open certain games it freezes and "Roblox has had an error and has to quit, were sorry!" pops up. it happens everytime i try to join a game. I hope roblox fixes this because i cant play now.
the crashing for me was caused by the new method for unlocking fps, you could try removing the json file

i was able to remove the anti cheat update and revert but when i went to open the app it just did a roblox update and re installed the anti cheat so i guess just wait for roblox to fix it. there is no fix otherwise i've tried all options lol

Im getting one where the game freezes, but then starts flickering, and the top left of the screan sort of matches what you are doing. even leaving the game has that previous screen still flashing on the same game when the flcikering started. but imagine a chil or anyone with a health risk of flashing lights, this could potentially bring a child to a hospital.

Another problem is sometimes when i join i flatout can't chat, if i press / it doesn't work, if i click on the chat with my mouse and press any other letters it doesn't work
I think for the people that get this type of glitches it would be the best option to contact Roblox Customer Support

roblox just keeps telling me that there was an unexpected error, the only way to fix it was to factory reset my pc, then it works for a day or two, then starts doing it again
There is one error ived been getting that you didint mention well whenever i try opening roblox the game opens but the screen turns white and then crashes and i open the app again and does the same thing over and over and over until it finally decides to opens and its starting to get annoying now
If the Unexpected error window shows up you can just click off of it, but not interact with it and continue playing. Just dont close the error window and dont press ok

the frezing some times can be solved by pressing ctrl+alt+supr and close that window that appears with that command, and roblox turns normal but the screen it has glitches effects
For all the glitchs i think its when something is wrong with your phone when you never uptade the system or put the wrong time

I have a one thousand dollar gaming laptop and my roblox keeps crashing, even though I updated my drivers and tried everything. Can someone please help??
I spoke with the support about this, even sent them proofs, they will mostly give you NPC instructions on how to update your stuff or then call your PC a potato

This same thing is happening again, it’s the first time encountering it though, it starts flickering and flashing and then when I exit and open the app again, my whole screen turns that specific pink color

That kinda happend to me it also happens for mobile
Edit: To not make it worse for mobile: 1.dont charge and play
2. dont use the mobile devices near heaters
3. While charging put it in a cool place.
Also it maybe overheating a bit

How do you summon this glitch
To fix this, you have to use your alt account and use the roblox extension.
After you joined any ganes to that alt, "Leave" to the game instead of "Closing" the game.
As you can see, you actually just sign your main into the actual Roblox app and that's pretty much it!

Notice how Roblox goes wrong after they team with byfron. Byfron is way to high end for roblox to use it, even if It's a lower grade byfron.
Byfron is whay fortnite uses to stop cheaters, yet they still get through. All Roblox needs to do is get their people working and just ban the exploiters/hackers. And honestly, who cares at this point? If they aren't breaking the game like removing items, flinging, killing aimbotting, god moding, etc. What's it matter? There are some chill exploiters that have it for fun, and don't ruin the games, honesty it makes it more fun. But i understsnd where people come from when they say "it's still annoying"
Point is. Robkox has been out since 2006, why are they only now trying to get rid of hackers. How many years have they had them? NOT to mentian john doe, and the other strong famous hackers that have actually hacked roblox themselves..
They need to worry more about the people trying to bypass clothing, games, and audios. Worry more about the people getting banned for little to nothing, and Roblox giving zero reason for it, or even deleting accounts. Need to worry about the major problems that high end people cost. Roblox says they trying to make it more fun, they're making it worse, and it's only going to get worse. I hate to say it, but is roblox actually going to die out? If so, the biggest question that'll be asked, will people get refunds?

My Game crashes like every few Minutes, with different Error Messages or none at all, my layered Clothing is also glitching out every few days
I do have a problem where I always get a whitescreen after I load up roblox and then it closes itself without any warning. The logo was invisible on my taskbar as well, indicating it won't work properly as it used to be.
The pink screen of death is probably caused by a rendering error or a texture error
Also caused by the GPU being incompatible with minimum requirements such as the DirectX, OpenGL or Vulkan version.

Yo it happened to me while i was playing roblox I kept on trying to play a game but everytime it start in any second it literally would crash. I recommend using desktop version so it would let you play without crashing lol
Recently I've been crashing for no reason when trying to start up a Roblox game, I've attempted a ungodly amount of fixes yet nothing works, so add that to the mix and you got a really big issue Roblox needs to fix.
