- Roblox will apparently soon be updating/adding some new TOS Age Guidelines. A lot of players are freaking out and worrying over this. But honestly, I doubt we will see any chance. Look at it this way. Roblox moderation is not going to get less strict.

What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. I think Roblox has realized these are very frequent problems on their website, so instead of trying to ban them, they decided to simply regulate them. Kind of like when prohibition was in place, drinking in some areas went up because now, the government couldn't regulate who can drink and where they can drink it.
And that's why crime rates are increasing.

there is only one vibe game i know of were you just vibe, and orders are not usually seen there. its called cabin roleplay and it's a nice game to play when your bored or tired. there's a campfire, a kitchen, a mini balcony, a living room with an actual working tv. i even had a nice conversation with someone about how rare it is to snow in the warmer states.
About drinking, there is a game called "Decaying winter: The last strandeds", there is a utility which is a bottle of whisky or something but eh, I don't feel like it is bad, you just get an camera voble and a painkiller effect for like 20-30 seconds and that's it.
also in a game called korean bbq you can order soju which is a type of vodka and your character actually takes a shot of it

It will only apply to games and they will be marked for 18+ like All Ages, 9+, 13+ so its not a big deal its only going to affect what you play, YOU have to decide where you go.
i think by romantic themes it means like if the game has a story, the characters can be a couple. without this being allowed you cant canonically have parents in a game, as they're a couple.
Roblox for once thinks about the older part of their platform. All thats left is just better moderation, audios management, actually rolling out VC to viable people, and a lot more things. :/
I almost forgot, making their PC “app” actually original and not use a mobile base, optimization, bug fixes, and listening to their community, all-round, not just their star creators or developers.
The problem with the app is that it uses the mobile base, making it harder to load things in, and leaving it prone to pink screening.
So roblox just basically gave up moderating this and knew this things already exist anyway

I think some of us are confused about the profanity and dating/romantic part but I think this is what roblox is trying to say:
You can now have a game where NPC characters can swear through a voiceline or a dialog text. For the dating/romantic part, it's probably that you can make NPCs canonically dating or married. This is just what I think though.
I slowly think that Roblox wants to be a teenagers only game. And not be allowed for little kids. If that happens it would be very sad. Hopefully Roblox will do much better Rules and updates in the near future. Still, great video, Shark! Keep up the great work!👍😁❤

The alcohol could be a problem it could encourage kids to drink which obviously isn't good even if its already a thing making it allowed could make it worse
This one could potentially be a problem to roblox accounts that has their date of births the same date as their account was created, even me.
So roblox should kind of make it so that these accounts that has their same date of birth as their created account's date should have one chance of changing their birth to their actual ones, hope roblox knows this.

Instead of making those updates, they should fix their moderation, not adding dating and alcoholic use and more. Roblox moderation is getting really worse.. It would be really bad when kids see these type of updates.
This will probably have the most effect in roleplay games such as After the Flash, where there will no longer be a need to bypass profanity by attempting to trick the filter... if this update is pushed.
