Honestly for once I'm happy to see more decks rather than the 12 year old reaction videos, new patch just dropped and I need some inspiration for decks (aka stealing mogwai decks and trying them out)

@@dimass.a1507 i play other card games as much and i mostly homebrew my decks but deck building in lor is quite the challenge and i hope their would be a guide on deck building cos majority of decks i try to build end up being trash lol and then come here to copy mogwai's decks kekw.
@@eizhamm4820 it's impossible to make guides for deck building. It's more of a practice thing, you try different things, from staples in every deck to quantity and thinking of situations were your deck would need certain cards. At the end it's practice.

This is the way.
Rito originally did test the husks as slain and found them to be broken, and we can say all we want about them NOT finding broken stuff, but let me tell you from League experience when they deem something broken in testing they mean it, like think what they let go for a very long time and argue it isn't and then imagine if they did.

To be fair, the darkness player misplayed severely.
Regarding slay mechanic with husks, devs said they tried it and it was deemed too strong, so it was nerfed/changed.
Ye I can see that I built a nasus husk deck and just used every slat unit 😩 to my surprise didnt work if it had worked it would be to insain on some slay champs an units
I can see that 1 drop that grows with slays being a problem if husks counted as slay
Normally I don't find "protect the dude" decks that fun, but I decided to craft this one and the tricks you can pull off with Syncopation to deny kills/find lethal or Hate Spike to get the Kindred's second kill and level them up in 1 card at fast speed are super cool.
I didn’t know levelled up Viego can execute champions with spellshield, good to know
Spellshield doesn't block effects that don't go on the stack so that's intended.
tldr; is Viego's execution is not a "◉ skill"
Same for Kindred
obviously, its not a spell or skill. same as when you frostbite with sentry for example, alot of people think that doesnt go through spellshield

Yessss! The return of my favorite deck, but upgraded!! I knew hate spike would be perfect for kindred/viego, even if husks didn't count for slay. Thank you for sharing this deck!! (and beating Kai'sa, always happy to see it)
This was a really really good video. Almost losing to Khaisa and the beating her while in other game trolling the gell outof Veigar beck. Was so fun to watch.
So glad to see Kindred getting played. I can't help but wonder if any of Gwen's package would be good here though.

Curious what he thinks of yi, he seems strong maybe combined with Lee and noxus. But mogwai wouldn't like that though
Yi seems rather balanced with the ability to possibly fuel combo decks with his cost reduction.
Listen to me. Master Yi with frostbite. Burst speed kill any unit on an open attack. Freljord also makes sense cause of Seer and on a different deck warmothers or feel the rush
@@Josh-99 that's why I thought Lee. He likes spells and needs two to trigger his things. Maybe a modification of the old Lee deck that was dominating on his release

I believe he loves Yi + Lee Sin because of BURST SPEED SPELLS
I think they could give fearsome to escaped abomination if it doesn´t have 3 health. At least this way it cannot die into a 2/1 if it attacks wich it is pretty sad

I came back to the game after quite some time and was sad to see my viego ionia deck not doing good anymore but now that I've tried this deck I'm fully convinced viego is still good :)

He was probably working towards a level up. Spirit Leech + Mist was a +6 there which allowed Viego to level up in thee following round
Not sure about a misplay, Mogwai was trying to kill off high strength units to work towards Viego's level up. Was it needed? In this case it actually worked out very well as he levelled from the mist dying allowing Mogwai to simply pass on round 7 and keep open mana to protect him using spirit's refuge. Levelling him up can often win the game on the spot so the earlier the better.
Hey Mog, i am climbing ranks using this deck. Tweak it a bit by placing 1 go hard for heal and late game board wipe. This deck is a masterpiece for me. Syncopation to frey or any no value cards is the chef's kiss for high value removal from opponent. Thank you.
I just killed turn 5 asol against targons peak deck using 1 mana card when Kindred is on board. ;)

syncopation really is amazing. I play kalista with viego in my version. i had a game earlier when my kalista was about to level and i had a spider and viego on board with her, my opponent went to vengeance my kalista and i swapped the spider with her, which leveled my kalista and got viego going. My opponent immediately surrendered after that. hahahah.
That third game was naaaaaasty, the perfect cards and perfect timing

I play darkness ionia with some recalls to help resummon the darkness generators and a couple of karmas to help one shot the nexus, it’s super hard to build a well rounded version but it can work
I was actually the player who played the Ionia darkness deck and I nearly climbed into master with it. But the current Meta is a little tough for it. It somehow feels slightly to slow

Finally seeing at least a few Husks in conjunction with Viego! I’m surprised why not Evelynn Viego though? Mainly because Evelynn spawning a husk followed by Viego makes an engine of mists and husks that escalates fast. Especially with Domination buffing Mists even more. I’m curious to see your thought process on it?
Regardless, love the Deck and I always love seeing Viego content and Viego decks so appreciated!
MajiinBae just posted an Eve Viego deck. It’s not bad, but I think Eve performs better in midrange and aggro decks where it can be paired with both prankster and collector. That’s where the husks become real threats.
If you plan on playing Viego on turn 5 or soon after to take advantage of the husks dying, you need to be able to take care of him multiple times. Regen and tough husks are great for that, but husks are random, so.
Husks can also jam up your board and prevent mists from spawning in.
Mogwai’s version has a fighting chance. Syncopation, Deny, and Kindred’s champ spell can all protect Viego. Syncopation is particularly important because it’s so cheap.
Eve's synergy while nice just isnt worth how much protection you give up for it.
I mean just count how many times a syncopation or deny outright wins mogwai the game, eve just cant compare.
@@iatwiatw i seem to be having moderate success with kalista instead of kindred. i don't know which is better as i haven't tried kindred tbh, but like mogwai said, having an additional champion that poses a threat is great. When shes levelled and she summons the mists on attack, its pretty funny tbh.
Thresh Nasus with hate spike is stupidly ridiculous levels of strong.

Why does Kaisa, a keyword hoarder champ, needs quick attack to begin with? If she didn't have it would be much harder to keep her alive and not just braindead attacking

with the nerfs on kai'sa they hit every other "kai'sa" deck harder then the one that is actually being used.
There was a single nerf they needed to do.
Limit the times the "deal 1 damage for each keyword you have" would be activated to the first time each turn .
the mono kai'sa deck had the highest play rate and it went down on winrate though. people switched to akshan/kai'sa now, and she was made so broken that even after the nerfs she's still sitting at like almost 60% winrate

How is that lethal, Viego is only at 11attack and the opponent has 13 health. If you are thinking about finishing them off with 2 damage from Hate Spike it only targets units.

In some cases yes but that elusive was A. doomed to die thanks to kindred's passive and B. Is only hitting for 1 damage which is neglectable compared to the threat of 3 damage

Kindred is the most toxic champion in the game.
Their effect doesnt affect aggro's aggression enough, especially considering they have shit like Glimpse Beyond or Fervor
But also, their affect absolutely demolishes every single combo deck
They may not be strong, but they still are super cringe.
Kindred is one of these champions that have to be dealt with the moment it comes down, and i hate this design. Just like Fiora and some others, i hope they stay B tier and below
