Thanks! I bought this to make just black and white drawings and I`m happy that I was not wrong.
I have this idea of making renaissance style sketches in sepia tones mostly from statues and use also white color.
Your German pronunciation was quite good! 👍

I actually kind of like the dulled look that the paper provides. That being said, the speckles in the Strathmore toned paper does appeal to me more. Nice catch on noticing how oils affect it, by the way!

I have Strathmore toned paper and it takes me forever to use it too. I don't hate it but this is not the sketchbook I am reaching for all the time.
