@@camejko The armor spell puts down a circle that grants armor to Quan Chi as long he stands in the circle. Some of these combos in the video are made with Quan's armor in mind and counteract it

Agreed, and this game used to have soooo much other stuff, its crazy, back in the beta days (when I was a tester), Kung Lao could do multiple divekicks in a combo, like 3 reps. It was beautiful. I tried telling them to just make it scale instead of taking it out, but nope, didn't listen. Same shit for all the shit they took out in 11 that was in MKX, again completely going the opposite direction of what I told them. It is what it is, it's their game I guess, so fuck it. I take it as "we can never top MKX". Well, they could of with some of the shit they took out, like that Lao stuff... just make it scale... who gives a shit how much it does... if its fun to do that's all that matters.. oh well

People say Street Fighter is deeper than Mortal Kombat. They're wrong
Combo alone isn't the deciding factor of how deep the game is. When it comes to game mechanics, SF is unfortunately much deeper man, more experienced, more unique characters and much less casual stuff.
One word - Tekken
the combo systems are totaly different so you cant compair the to in that sense. but as someoen who plays both, i would actually say that street fighters footsies and stuff like that is deeper and better
fuddyduddie1 never thought of a game where you can juggle someone for half the match at any skill level to be the chess of fighting games. With all the different gameplay elements you just listed soul caliber would be the chess of fighting games but not popular these days
SF and MK aren't equals - SF is much more deep, but yea, Tekken wins in this case. And just by learning juggles you can't easily win in Tekken. Launchers there are very unsafe on block, so you can't rely just on them, everything in Tekken can be either interrupted, crushed, blocked, reversed, escaped or dodged.
