Nah, if anything, Raiden is gonna learn from Kuai Liang and the Shirai Ryu on how to control the anger. Besides, even Demi God Raiden finally learned to control himself in MK11 after Liu Kang and Scorpion beat some sense into him .

I said that because we learned how Kenshi lost his eyes, how Quan Chi turned to white and Shao Kahn was originally a general under the command of Sindel, the same with Kang Lao hat and Raiden's amulet.

Man... Shao Kahn being beaten by our character in the nineth game was satisfying but watching the Deadly Alliance being beaten up in Liu Kang's timeline is amazing.

Fighting Shao in Mortal Kombat 9 was a nightmare except he was a much funner boss than Kronika

I honestly found Shinnok to be easy. When it came time to face Kronika, I was not ready at all. What made me even more furious about that boss fight is that it gave me flashbacks and anger to Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite. I already hated Ultron Sigma. I didn't expect to see Kronika change into another fighter and fuck up my momentum every time
Shinnok was never an interesting character design to me. He seems so generic. Kronika is a pain in the dick.

Well, in MKX, not really, sure you can play as Shinnok but not in his corrupted form
A final boss should never be playable. They're supposed to be an OP challenge, not a balanced character designed for competitive play.
You could have play as Shao Khan in MK9
Raiden as an elder god be like: i must consult myself
1. MK = Kombatant souls comes out of Shang Tsung's body as he decayed to death.
2. MKII = Shao Kahn Scream NOOOOO! As the Background change before he petrified, cracked, and Explode.
3. UMK3 = Soul Energy Siphoned from Shao Kahn as the Screen changes before he explode and the screen change into Netherrealm
4. MK4 = Shinnok's Face Stretch out, leaving his mutilated head, as he Plummet to Fiery Netherrealm Portal.
5. MKDA = Quan Chi and Shang Tsung got their soul sucked into the Soulnado.
6. MKD = Onaga engulf in Flame as the screen Blackened, before explode leaving his head behind.
7. MKA = Blaze's Explode after engulf in Flame, leaving behind his chunks of Blood and Lava.
8. MKVSDCU = Dark Kahn Inflate before Explode, leaving behind a Pool of Lava.
9. MK2011 = Shao Kahn got beaten Painfully by the Kombatants as his body burst in Light before explode.
10. MKX = Kombatants ripped the amulet from Corrupted Shinnok's body as he falls into the ground, bereft of power before being slammed by a blast of purified energy. He is then lifted into the air, as the energy building up until he explodes into pieces.
11. MK11 = Kombatants punch Kronika toward Hourglass, than the Hourglass shattered as the pieces cut both Kronika's Torso and arm. As she attempt to reach her Crown, a Glass Pieces slice her Head and she got sucked into the Hourglass that repairing itself and erase her from History. Leaving her Crown Behind.
12. MK1 : The Kombatant alongside the Kameo Fighter beating and uppercut Titan Shang Tsung and Titan Quan Chi as they fall into the Pit of Soulnado and died. Causing the Soulnado to explode.

I still thinks about the First Mortal Kombat is basically a Contestant Testing if they can win against the Sequel Boss, Shang tsung testing the earthrealm before actual tournament.

feels like every mortal kombat after 9 is just re-telling the classic games, 9 is a remake of the first 3 games, X is MK4, and MK1 is where deadly alliance happens with a little bit of Armageddon, perhaps the next game we'll get to see Onaga again besides Havik (11 could be a complete new story)
Yeah, they are pretty lazy with the story telling. At least MKX was a good re-telling, MK11 and MK 1 suck!

Mods to get final bosses like Shang Tsung in the first Mk1 and Shao Kahn in Mk2 and so on so forth so it'd be fun to play as a boss like mk11 shao kahn.

As a long time fan and I've played them all (cept 4, it was to ugly) I have to say as much as I love MK11 the boss was lame. So I have to go with...Shao Kahn from MK9, hard as hell in the story mode, but in arcade just as annoying.
UMK3 Shao took me 40 mins to beat for this video. It was one of the worst experiences I ever had making a video.
Took me 2 hours to beat Shao Kahn in story mode cause im stuck with Raiden, and I suck as Raiden, but in ladder mode my boy is Smoke. He is my anti-Shao Kahn, can beat him in like 2 mins.

You know… mk3 having liu kang win is sort of the downfall of everyone, as it eventually leads to Armageddon.
That is the point of Mortal Kombat 9. Shao Kahn had to win so that by trying to merge the kingdoms the old gods will erase him forever, preventing him from ever returning to bring Armageddon. It's a shame that Raiden's previous misinterpretations of that prophecy had led to the death of almost the entire team, to the point where Liu Kang was naturally distrustful and nervous.

Evolution? Yeah right, in the latest game the final boss is freaking Shang Tsung. Pathetic. So what if he's supposed to be more powerful or something, he looks so non-threatening and bland compared to so many of the previous final bosses. He doesn't even have his facial hair so he looks lamer than he ever did. Also the fact that they're just doing the whole multiverse nonsense like so many video games and movies are doing shows how creatively bankrupt the creators are now. A pity.
