- I'm not sure why the quality of the video dropped when I did a slight edit, but whatever. You can still see what's going on in the video.
Junko is quite possibly the most annoying final boss of a Touhou game, all because of her pixel perfect dodging. Despite being annoying with most of her attacks, there are a couple spells I do enjoy. It was also annoying to do a run without bombing JUST because of her final spell. I chose Reimu because I doubt I could pull this off with any of the other fat Touhou characters. I only say fat because Reimu's hitbox is the smallest. Reisen's hitbox when she uses her bomb is actually even bigger than her already big hitbox. Marisa is Marisa, and Sanae tries too hard to be Reimu.

@@JuaniB_18 just look at the footage man. He doesn't even have to shoot a thing, it's all just an easy predetermined path to follow on stage 6. When he actually has to dodge bullets he stops
@@JuaniB_18 Can confirm, I'm pretty bad at Touhou but once I learn when and where safe spots are it's easy to do stuff like that. It actually helps relax a bit because the game is very demanding on the concentration.
@@JuaniB_18 they are saying knowing a safespot which requires minimal to no dodging is unimpressive, what was impressive was the streaming they did.
so Junko is the litteral definition of "why doing difficult when you can do it simple?"
And even with that she is very hard to beat

That's what Junko is all about. She doesn't care about style and elegance like other Touhou villains. She only cares about overpowering the enemy in every way possible.

Given how Junko's difficulty seems to just scream final boss, I'm starting to wonder if one reason for Yukari rarely stepping in during incidents is to train Reimu to be ready for anything, including beings like Junko.
Remember that Yukari , had just woken up from her hibernation and was just kind of fucking around with Reimu in PCB
Well in SSiB, Yukari did tell Reimu to train more to be prepared against anything before she went to the moon. So im pretty sure Yukari not getting involved in most incidents because of what you said is canon.

I like to pretend that junko's reason as to why her danmaku patterns are so simple is because simplicity can be interpreted in several different ways
even when junko is here to commit murder her spell cards are still naturally beautiful

both of the themes in this are like two parts of her character ("the sea where ones home planet is relfected" is extremely sad bc obviously her son is dead, and "pure furies" is just pure blind hatred)
her spellcards are obviously rushed (game was rushed asf) but to me it seems to fit the whole "purified" trope (and she isnt playing by the spellcard rules, and is trying to kill you for getting in your way)

In lunatic Junko is truly the final boss.
In easy however it's Clownpiss (despite the existence of Junko's final) because most of her nons and spells are unpredictable and fast going, so hard to learn.
Junko's nons and spells (except for her second spell) are static.
In easy Junko's third spell is a joke actually.
Clownpiece is just hard doesnt matter the difficulty lol, i couldnt stop dying at her non spell for like the first 3 lives and had to continue

+Douglas Morris (Nuhji) Oh hey, haven't seen you in awhile. I say I suck because the areas I need to improve are the areas that are important for bullet hells. The reason Wall of Issun took me so long is because I suck at short movement. I'm also bad at reading fast bullets, curvy lasers, and bullets from multiple directions. Those would be the main areas I need to improve drastically if I want to get better.

@@abarette_ I disagree, while the visual pattern is similar, there are far less lasers and simultaneous ones as well. The 70°ish curved laser of death is also missing. It's so much tighter in lunatic.
Contrary to popular belief, the purpose of Junko's spell cards aren't *just* to kill the player.
They're actually meant to cause despair.

I could easily beat Junko with the option to bomb, because bombing makes anything that much easier, but since I already 1cc'd the game on lunatic, then giving myself a challenge like trying to do the boss without bombing makes it more fun for me. Everyone has their own ways of playing Touhou.

Bruh Okuu is one of the easiest boss on Lunatic
She only has HUGE hitboxes but you have much more freedom to move around.
i suffer more in orin than Okuu,also Junko still kicking my Normal 1 CC in legacy mode till this day
