    在英国作interviewer的经验比较多,在我看来真的需要准备的就是申请人在cv和CL上面写的内容。一定要熟悉自己写过的任何信息(经验,能力,项目)。发现很多的申请人对自己做过的项目并不是很熟悉,这个很伤害面试过程。其他的真的就是像约会一样,顺其自然,注意礼节。

    Thank you, Susie woo for showing me about how to get a job in UK, Now I got permanent contract already since I passed through 3 months probation period. Some HK people had already share the tips to me to use UK CV standard to help looking for new job.

      The UK CV standard is the same in HK. We don't put photos, or indicate age or gender on the CV since something like twenty years ago. But congratulations on your job hunting.

    Great vid as usual, Susie. Alix has a personable style and did a fantastic job explaining the ins and outs of not just interviewing but job hunting in general. The only thing is here in the States we don’t recommend people sticking their mug shots in a resume either. Also, while no one is gonna knock your grammar, I would suggest working to reduce a thick accent, cuz if people are hard to understand then it’s gonna adversely impact the working dynamics once they’re on board. And lastly, just out of curiosity, is it offensive in British culture to sprinkle some light humor in the course of an interview?

    • @susiewooenglish
      @susiewooenglish  Před rokem +2

      Thanks for the comment -- and light humour would definitely be encouraged in all contexts in the UK!

    Almost everything is what I feel when I interviewed. But I don't that agree about not doing simulation interview. Well... that being said if you are good in English then you can just respond naturally. But I was not at that time. So being prepared for some questions which might be asked is quite helpful for me cause I can think about how to elaborate advancely.
    But I'm really appreciate for that you do some topics like this, well done!!

Otherwise, I was considered to another way of application to study the Ph.d Programme on the UK. At this moment time, which way of best channel going to the UK.
