Christina has one of the most powerful and beautiful voices but, Bocelli is all I hear. He is smooth, deep and breathtaking withouyt any effort.

Cristina Aguilera is under recognized. Amazing voice.
That's because she thought she had to compete with Britney Spears on who could out skank the other, and she didn't have to compete with Britney, because musically Britney isn't in the same league as Christina. She's doing a little bit too many vocal gymnastics. Don't run scales in every song, allow the song to be beautiful as written. But, it's still really good. Christina did a video in chaps and looked dirty and slutty... trying to out slut Britney... I think it held her back musically when she could have put out better music than some of the pop crap she did early on. Yes, she has a strong voice, and I like that. Britney sounds like she is making baby dolphin sounds at the beginning of nearly every line she sings. U/u/u/u/u/u/-bab-uh bab-uh - yuke.

Was christina flat like half the time? The harmony doesnt really sound right
I love Christina's voice, but I thought the idea of singing a duet was to sing WITH the other person, not sing over the other person by singing 3-4 times louder than them. At least that's what I always learned in years of ensemble playing and singing. My goodness.

Agreed, @Darcy Doll...she oversang the crap out of this duet and wasn't cueing in on her volume balance next to the GREAT Andrea Bocelli. That was a bit too much even from her first note, it was full blast sound. Ugh.

Well said. I too, have had some amazing singing partners but there’s always been respect and appreciation for what the other person is doing. What Christina does here is shameful.
Maybe the monitors were bad and they couldn't hear one another very well?
I think that she sings wrong notes, but then corrects herself 1:41-44.
She is pretty much on key, but the run she did just didn’t compliment the music

But that’s what a run or a riff is about, playing with notes, if she integrated a better run it would’ve sounded better, but her pop musicality didn’t match with this classical record

Hearing this is actually very cringy for me. I love both of them. Their songs, range, and tones. However, I think if Christina had kept some notes clean and clear instead of doing runs, it would've been magical.

No cualquiera puede cantar un bolero aunque tenga registros formidables, Bocelli se mantuvo plano, cantó sin alma y Cristina hasta desentonó intentando darle su propio estilo a la canción. Pésima interpretación para el nivel de estos dos.

I dont think she was shouting in this particular performance. She shouts a lot in her other performances though. However I do think that Andrea mic was having some problems. He doesnt sound as powerful as he used to.
