Larry Grayson (31 August 1923 - 7 January 1995), born William Sulley White, was an English 🇬🇧 comedian and television presenter who was best known in the 1970s and early 1980s. He is best remembered for hosting the BBC's popular series The Generation Game and for his high camp and English music hall humor. 🇺🇸

it's only as I have got older I've realised what a great guy Larry was. Warm, funny and a wealth of characters all in his imaginary world. Slack Alice, Everard and Apricot Lil. I love watching him on the old shows and interviews. RIP Larry!

Larry hated upon Benny Hill 'till he was sacked.
Benny actually named him in a The Bill parody as "first thug" in joke credits along with Clive James "Dickhead" and Nina Myskow "front/rear end of cow", we know what James/Myskow said but media seems to shroud what nasty Larry had been saying unless he was bitching privately to executives and Benny heard about it?
