Burmese Glass Noodles Soup “Mandalay Kyar_Zan_Chet” | မန္တလေး ကြာဇံချက်

Today vlog is “Burmese Mandalay Glass Noodles Soup”, in Burmese language “Mandalay Kyar_Zan_Chet”, which is glass noodles with various ingredients such as dried lilies, dried bean curds, black fungus etc. in chicken broth. It is not difficult to cook and the ingredients like dried lilies, dried bean curds, black fungus can be found at Asian supermarkets.
“Mandalay Kyar_Zan_Chet” is a bit different from the recipe of “Kyar_Zan_Hin_Khar” in lower country such as the city of Yangon. In Yangon, all ingredients are added in the broth and the soup is done when all are cooked and the consistency of the soup is thin whereas “Mandalay Kyar_Zan_Chet” is mainly based on the sweetness of chicken broth and add the ingredient one by one in order to combine the flavour in and all ingredients are incorporated well and the consistency of the soup is thick. Where the recipes are based on, we Burmese love to have this soup while the weather is a bit side of chill, cold or when we wish to have a soup.
