I did this M.O.S for 3 years. Stationed in Hawaii. 105 mm howitzer. Artillery deploys alot. Always in the field. A lot of hard work. Not a lot of fun. I had to go to a promotion board just to get my E-4. I did infantry in California Army National Guard. Now that was fun. Deployed to Europe for 3 weeks!
Promotion board for E4 since when they do that☠️ That’s an automatic promotion
I’m a 13b here on the m119 at Schofield too, I’m in b 3-7 what were you in man
I was a 13E for 3 years on 155 then 105mm in Hawaii 96-99. You're dead on. Not much fun, a lot of hole digging and a LOT of field time. Fuck PTA. So many dudes quit the army after that tour. They came from heavy units. Light Artillery ain't no joke
