To clarify butt joints 6-8 inches,in the field 12-14 inches , this is cali code, walls and ceilings.

Some apartments complex are every 8 in 🤔 our homes are just 4 or 5 on a stud 8 and 9 ft boards

I put 5 screws per studs more or less but I never knew there was an actual drywall inspection besides the boss checking our work

Just in deep enough where the taping knife dosen't nick the screws , to deep you lose holding power., drywall shooter is the tool.
