With being a father now, my favorite memories with Pokémon card collecting are changing every day with my kids collecting now. My son recently pulled a full art Gyarados which is his favorite Pokémon. My daughter pulled a rainbow Marnie and it got graded a 10. You also gave her a shoutout during a livestream and I recorded her reaction, which was priceless!

I’ll never forget going to the card store as a kid and getting some fossil packs, opening them, and getting gengar. Was immediately hooked
I am so proud of this guy. He has a huge family he gives them pokemon cards so young. Has a CZcams job. And spends alot of time with his family.
My favorite moment for me collecting is actually when my 4 year old started collecting with me. Your daughters collection is awesome, mine puts hers in her binder and she gets super excited whenever she pulls something from a pack and runs and grabs her binder.
My favorite moment collecting is from way back in the day, playing football of all things. My dad would tally up good plays I made in a game and take me to the bookstore after to buy me Pokemon cards based on my performance. These were the fossil days. I made an interception and ran it for a touchdown in onr game and I got so much fossil love at Books a Million after that. Pulled the misprint Zapdos, Kaputops, Lapras... It was a great night.

Same for me, but with swim meets. Also, I remember summers at the pool where kids were littered around the club with binders open. So many kids at the pool, not a lot of swimming.

My favorite collecting experience was filming my son open his first pack ever and seeing the excitement on his face when he pulled a grimer. LOL His favorite pokemon. Six years old and does not give a crap about value.
Favorite moment is when my brother and I were super young collecting gen 1! The excitement of saving our money to go to the card shop and buy them memories forever! Awesome cards your family has collected over the years!
I pulled a Golem back in 2005-2006 and showed it to my friends they said it was really good!

Your Rayquaza story is exactly why I only open packs with my kids lol. They have all the luck! My youngest pulled the rainbow mewtwo from Go and he fell out of his chair backwards from the excitement. Held the card up and out of danger like a guy saving his beer from a fall. It was glorious, best memory so far!

My kids love building their collection. Getting back into this with my kids brings back memories of opening cards when I was a kid.
Favorite moment is where I opened a Flareon Jungle pack at the beach as a kid and inside was the holo Flareon! My favorite Pokémon still to this day!

My best moment of collecting Pokémon cards has to be either when evolutions came out and opening Pokémon cards with my siblings and friends (and pulling my rarest card) or when I got back into collecting and opening the mega powers box with my freind on call during quarantine! Love the fact your showing some of your families cards and love your videos in general!
My favorite moment was my parents taking me to the store as a kid and buy my first pack. They work so hard and I was thankful for everything they did for me.
I’ve been collecting for about a month now and my best moment was when I had enough money to buy a booster box! It was a blast and I felt like you when you open booster boxes on stream! Thanks for all the videos!

I collected as a kid but the best part is watching my kids enjoy them now. We love hunting for dollar store packs! It’s an adventure every time 😁
So many favourite memories going to the card shop once a week and getting my £2.50 pack from base set up, sorting through my collection and noticing the differences between shadowless and standard, trading with friends was good at the time but looking back major regrets

As a kid my favorite moment was when I got to open my first Pokémon cards ever. I remember bugging my parents for weeks. I was just crazy about the show and I finally got some for Christmas. Battling and trading as a kid was the best and I brought those cards with me everywhere.

my favourite moments when i look back is just going back 20 years ago as a kid when i used to go to the card show every weekend with friends at the local mall and buying the early sets like base and fossil, rocket etc.. meeting new friends there and trading cards. just got back into collecting this year and i missed way too much haha

I think my favorite moment was always going to the card shop to buy packs. I specifically remember buying the three mains in Japanese full evolution set of Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile when gen two came out. Wish I still had them.
Best memories are definitely, sitting down with my dad and brother and opening cards and building decks on holidays, I can’t wait until my daughter is old enough to start doing the same.
Also, side note, I love how you make sure your kids take care of the cards and sleeve and top load each one to preserve them, and it’s stored exactly how I remember storing my old cards as a kid, just without the sleeves or anything🥲😅

Pulling a charizard as a kid in 99 with my dad, was one of my cherished memories of him.
Watching my son pull a charizard makes all the money invested into Pokémon worth it, priceless

I think my favorite moment has to be when my cousin and I who were apart of the earlier generation of Pokémon collectors
combined our collection and PASSED DOWN (haha) our collection of Pokémon cards to our younger brothers. Our cards were by no means the best condition, although some were, but this collection included a lot of cards from the old sets. Since then our brothers who are the same age (13 now) share the same love for Pokémon cards as we did, by collecting, playing, and really enjoying the culture of Pokémon. And words literally can’t describe that feeling that we felt passing on our shoe box of cards to the generation of Pokémon trainers 😎

Favorite moment from collecting Pokémon cards is when I was 5 (2001) and going to the comic book store and pulling a Lapras Holo from a Fossil Unlimited pack that I still have to this day. That is when I fell in love with Pokémon and Lapras of course!

I think one of my top moments was finding out that I actually still had my childhood collection when I though I had given it away. Less recent, I also have a very happy memory of when my parents got me my first theme deck, I still have most of the cards from that deck today and they're some of the most played ones.
One of my low moments was when I found out my dad took my 2 shoeboxes of pokemon and yugioh card to the dump and dropped them off🥲🥲

My favourite moment was pulling a holo Machamp as a kid. I think it was the only holo I had, Pokemon cards were a HUGE treat to get.

My favorite moment of collecting them is definitely pulling my first big hit coming back to Pokémon a charizard vmax from darkness ablaze with all my friends and seeing my face light up was awesome.
Actually, i'm collecting only for a year and 2 months, but my favorite part of the collection was to get my first graded cards.
We sent a Vmax shiny charizard and a celebrations charizard (we pulled both) to CGC without subgrades (we didn't know about it), and after some months we got both of them 9.5! One of the best parts in the collection.
There are 2. One of my most memorable favorite moments was when my son pulled the gold mew from celebrations and zard in the next pack. When he saw it, he was so excited that the tears started rolling down his face. The other moment was on his birthday. He opened an evolution pack and pulled reverse and normal Zard, and the zard rainbow from champions etb later. Memories!

i loved when i was little my father sitting down at the kitchen table and showing me his cards and i thought they were so cool that i wanted to start too and just before he passed away he gave me his cards as a one final goodbye

When I first started collecting Pokemon, I opened up an evolutions pack and I pulled a MVenusaur EX. When I pulled it I thought it wasn't too rare, but now I have more experience with Pokemon, I realize that it is pretty rare.

My favorite moment while collecting Pokémon has got to be pulling my first pikachu as a kid. I highly doubt it was anything rare or super valuable, but as a kid that was everything for me. To actually get a physical card representing one of the most iconic Pokémon from the show had me hype back then!

Favorite moment in my collecting journey is getting back into the hobby. I collected since the base set was released and then stopped mid neo sets. As I got older, I shied away from any trading cards and focused more on video games. When Evolutions was released, I decided to pick up a pack for nostalgia. Opened it up to find a full art mega charizard ex! I had no idea that anything better than a holo rare existed and I was blown away. Jumped right back into the hobby and havent looked back since.
I remember when i was a kid i bought a base set and opened it and i found the og charizard, i was so happy back then …
Then i lost it somehow and after 23 years i think that it might be a bad memory instead of good because the charizard now is very expensive 😭😭😭

I recently got back into Pokemon.. i collected in 4th grade. My brother bought me a celebrations etb, and i pulled a Charzard! All the nostalgia feelings from 4th grade came rushing into my life again. been hooked ever since. On a current Charzard hunt. But really loving evolving skies.
Getting back into it in the last 6 months with my kids. We opened up 250 packs on Easter week. Watching my oldest pull that rainbow Charizard vstar and the shock on her face and everyone else’s was priceless.
Best memories for me had to come from trading at school, back when you couldn’t see all the cards in the set online and someone showed up with a card you needed! Great times

I’d be carful on letting your kids trade at school, Rev. My friend had the full art Primal Kyogre AND Groudon and he traded them to a kid (we were pretty young at the time) for cards that the other kid said made a “fair trade” (It wasn’t fair).He traded them, and that kid IMMEDIATELY turned around and gave them to someone else.

My favorite moment ever was back in I think 2016 in the set XY Flashfire my older brother needed 1 final card to finish the set and I got 1 single pack of Flashfire and pulled the exact card. My entire family was so happy and he was screaming. To say the least I will never forget that day, shortly after I gave my brother the card that he needed to finish the set.
Favourite moment hands down was just finding card collecting with my wife during lockdown. We got some crazy pulls and was something to look forward too being locked up at home.

Favorite moment in collecting has to be in 2019 when I started collecting again and bought 2 single booster packs of Cosmic Eclipse and pulled the alt art statue card. I guess thats why I continued on collecting, like you mention theres so much nostalgia from our childhood. Like you I'm a 90's kid and I remember pulling the base Charizard and everyone bringing their collection to school, to show it and play with it 👍 Btw enjoy watching your videos, there is so much variety to them, and some banger collections your kids have right there 💪🔥
