History: Ghana's New Elmina Fishing Harbour Welcomes its First Cruise Ship

- The Ghana’s €84 million Elmina Fishing Harbour, which build for supporting local fishermen, has reached a new milestone. It recently received its very first cruise ship, which is the famous SH Vega!
it was Built in Finland inside Helsinki Shipyard, and was Named after the first ship to conquer the Arctic Northeast Passage,
the vessel was built for exploration. With a capacity for 280 passengers, it offers luxurious comfort and stunning panoramic views.

It would be great to fly from UK to Canary Islands, and then get a cruise from Canary Islands to Ghana., that would be amazing. The same way you could do when people go to Cyprus can take a boat to Luxor Egypt

Regardless of Nana Addo’s short comings, there is no disputable fact that he is the best President so far in Ghana since independence…
This is because he took a country which was in IMF program, grew the economy by creating more ways for revenue, took loans with reasonable interest rate to pay the previous debt of the country and
had to sustain the country thru the COVID and global hardship. Look at all the developments around though challenges with electricity..

The government has built science practical schools that students who don't want to go to the normal chew and pour schools. They are learning robotics building cars etc. Go to the government development tracker click on it . Choose education and you'll see what has been done.
These plans were put in place in the 60's, unfortunately successive Govts failed to implement them. Nana Addo deserves credit for this and must complete the major highways to complement this program.

Not sure the ship is bought. There will be a lot of these cruise ships now coming in to Elmina and Cape Coast for tourism. Great boost for Central Région.
