This will be extremely helpful. I have taught myself to crochet via CZcams and a great follower of your channel. I was ask if I could make a bee 🐝 “Oh yes” said me. 12 bee faces later I got something that resembled a bee slightly !!! My mistake was following the large bee pattern on small hook and thinner yarn for the small bee. Can I ask do you magnify your stitches as when you make a magic ring and put in 6 single crochets and then pull the ring slightly closed and go into the first stitch it’s looks much bigger than mine even using the same yarn and the correct hook ?
Do you know of a pattern for a Jaffa cake please?
Thank you for your time and patience.
    Best wishes

It could just be a tension issue - everybody crochets slightly differently and so sometimes stitches can appear bigger / smaller / more stretched etc, I wouldn't worry too much if your overall product looks similar! So glad this short has helped you! 🥰
