ANNAMALAI has said that if BJP is voted to power in Tamilnadu the first thing they would do, is remove the statues of Periyar that are placed before the hindu temples only & not from everyplace as misrepresented by some DMK PARTY LEADERS......The next thing he said was that every one has the right to have these statues placed in public places & not remove them totally which is against individual's freedom to follow their religious beliefs....He NEVER meant to disrespect PERIYAR.....
The reporter is highly misleading. People who do not know or understand Tamil should not indulge in foolish reporting. All he said is that he will remove the statues of the DK leader in front of the temples and not entirely from TN.
