    The Michelins that came on my Tesla M3 have lost most of their tread at 11K miles. I do mostly town driving and I do not hard brake or accelerate. I will be lucky to get 14K miles on them.

      I’ve heard similar reports from others. I ran my original Michelins for about 55k miles, so obviously I had a different experience. However, I did have bald patches on the inner strip of tread due to negative camber, so I did run them dangerously low. I really got my money’s worth out of them. 😂

      Same. I have 16k on my original primacy MXM4. Have rotated them twice with them all now at 4/32

    I am on my 3rd set of Pirelli P0's at 57,000 miles. I do spend a bit of time at 85-90+ for extended periods and push the corners whenever possible.

    What do you recommend for SoCal? No snow, but February can get quite wet. I don't drive that much. What do you like? I'm going from 20" to 19" rims. I have Pirelli P-Zero tires on the 20" rims. Good video, thanks. I'm probably gonna go with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Performance Summer tires for the 19s.
    P.S. I suggest you wrap those black handles in white. :) Will look much better.

    I have a 2021 standard range rwd. I'm at 25k miles and will need new tires soon. I am surprised since I rotate my tires every 6k miles. Any suggestions for a tire that will.last me longer than 25k miles?

    I have the elect PZeros A/S on my Model S, and even with regular rotation and proper tire pressure, I'm down to 5/32 at 14,000 miles. Thinking my next tires might be the cross climate 2 just for the reported longevity - even if they are a little growly. The PZeros are still very quiet, but the S just does not handle well with 4/32 tread depth.

      Thanks for reporting back about your long term experience with them. Hopefully I’ll get some more life out of mine since the model 3 is lighter.

    6 year or 50k mile warranty? What is criteria to evoke warranty?

    I just got the P zero AS Elect installed yesterday (4th set of tires) replacing Michelin Pilot AS 4 on my 2018 model 3 LR. I was nearing the wear bars on the Pilot AS 4’s and had put about 26k miles on them. As soon as I drove away from America’s Tire (same as Discount Tire) I immediately noticed how quiet they were. The ride is excellent so far. Hopefully they will last longer than the Michelins. I still love Michelin but I wanted to try something different and an EV specific tire. Great video !

      thanks for sharing dann! i'm wondering if 2 weeks out after driving on them if you still feel the same?? i'm considering your pirelli's vs hankook vs continental's EV's

      @@darrenkwee3019 yes! The ride is very quiet. I don’t know how long they will last. Hopefully longer than 25000 miles 😅

    Michelin cross climate 2 are top notch ! Best tire in my opinion. I have had them on my model y and model 3 for 3 years now and they have been amazing

    MPS4S are far superior. Not sure what made Tesla to stop putting those on facelift model. When we did a drag race using 2 exact same cars with same soc and temperature, the ones fitted with MPS4S was faster.

      @spacep0d Před 2 měsíci +1

      For those wondering what MPSS4PSPSRESPSS is, they're Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (Performance Summer) tires.
