From Bill's 1972 " Still Bill" album originally, this tune is truly a magical experience.
Bill's wonderful soulful expressive voice has such a natural groove that draws your full attention. The guitars so delightful and the drums with the penetrating beat so addictive. Bill's wonderful display of his integration of the accoustic guitar into soul music displayed perfectly in this massive hit. Groovy reaction Harri you were grooving. ❤ Wonderful choice Daniel 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦

The studio used for "The Old Grey Whistle Test" was very small, the smallest at the BBC TV Centre. There was no room for fancy sets or audience so the emphasis was on the music. Some performers did much better in this environment than others. This video shows how well this group did. Without the need to pander to a paying audience these guys could lean back and be as cool as cool is. So much so that this version could be better than the record release.
BTW. There's a great interview on YT with Bill and Bob Harris from his second appearance on OGWT (1973) along with videos of other songs he recorded at the BBC.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Engelbert Humperdinck
    czcams.com/video/AdkkrcbOR7M/video.htmlsi=o7nkYvK_s2f98uCW
The first part of the song is Jesus. He will dry your years and comfort you. Dr Pillai has said that Jesus is the reincarnation of Shiva. Shiva himself framk the poison for the masses and I'd called the blue throat one
He shed his tears on behalf of humanity instead and the tears become Rufraksja beads.
The second part of the song is about The Holy Spirit. The comfort takes place in the middle of the night. Rahu is the holy spirit and his colour is black.
The third part of the song is about the Silver Lady which is the Moon. Her metal is silver. The zoom represented by the word zklle I'd sll about dreams and desires. It I'd ParvRti. Uje dreams and desires acknowledged by the song hives comforts the Womb Chakra taught by Dr zpollsi for Mother Mary. Moon signifies the infant in us. As our desires are met we become exceedingly happy.
A lot of songwriters in the 60s are inspired by the Spirit.
