    Every type of jet needs upgrades in the military,I'm happy that the A-10 got a significant upgrade,but the engines need to go for it,in place of more fuel efficient engines.

    This video explained very well the difference between an enemy radar detecting an aircraft VS having a weapon grade lock and fire. Sure, Russia S400 and 500 systems can detect US fighters from 250 to 300 miles away but can only get a weapons grade lock on em at 80 to 60 miles away.
