You can make custom sails with some fabric , scissors and "aleens fabric stiffener, just make sure you torch the edge of your cut with a torch lighter before you stiffen it, you can get amazing sails this way

The front of the ship is a little bit too round... It won't cut the waves... I think it needs more inverted slopes (2x3x1) to give him kind of a long nose 😉

Like your modifications to QA's Revenge, adding the upper deck to these ships makes all the difference. I am not a fan of the aft structure of QA's Revenge though. The narrowing as it gets higher looks odd, and there is no stairs leading from the bridge to the main deck.
When making the imperial outpost you used the pirate chess set for minifigures.Well if you need pieces for a next pirate (or any other theme) project,you can get the iconic chess set,it’s 55$ for 1450 pieces on lego.com .Has a great range of pieces and is overall a great deal.(You could probably have already bought it as investment set). I already bought the pirate chess set for a stop motion project and will be buying the iconic chess set for a future build.Just a suggestion for you.

Very nice Alex. I am so sad that I had both ships from Pirates but at the time I had no interest so I sold them on ebay. I also think that the brown plates would look better for the decking on Queens. With some added plank tiles to make it look really good. The brown and dark red will go really well together. What do you think?
@@erikalexander414 I did it. Got 2 queen Ann's revenge and some unnamed pirate ship with parts I liked on aliexpress. Outcome is spectacular 4 Mast ship.
Queen Anne's Revenge has some impressive sails. Wish Lego will relase more pirate ships in the future.

definetly try useing tan color deck peices so that it looks like natural wood

Yesir the dark brown hull is unique to QAR , get 2 and mix in some inverted 3×1 slopes and you have a recipe for Queen Annes apocalypse 😀
