I recently purchased the Brick Bounty, a pirate ship from 2015. Not a very visually striking ship, but after adding some customization, it looks a lot better. The pirate collection continues to grow.
The funniest part of that, is that before the Pirates 2015 line launched, LEGO allegedly held a contest to decide on a name for the Pirate Ship. And prior to that, in 2009, the pirate ship from that line was called Brickbeard's Bounty.
Okay, I'm watching this now, and I really like how you modified the Brick Bounty with pieces from your collection! The only spot I'd recommend improving would be the bow of the ship, possibly look into some SNOT techniques and brown curved tile slopes. Aside from that, it's amazing!
@@alexnunes yeah, but it's not enough to detract from the fact the rest of it looks great! I look forward to seeing it again in the next update on your Pirate diarama, Alex!
I think it would be a good basic design for Captain Hook’s ship, I’m surprised that nobody has made a moc of it. Love the modifications to the brick bounty.
Looking forward to your queen Ann’s revenge ship build, review and placement. I built it back in 2012 and loved it. There is definitely room for improvement so hope you modify it too
I bet it's the Black Pearl the fastest ship in the Caribbean and the ship that has survived through the series it went to the locker and back twice And was confined in a bottle I look forward to the 6th and final movie pirates of the Caribbean revenge of the crackin
great review as always, I don't even have to be interested in these lego themes to watch your vids, do you think you will be getting any pirates of the Caribbean lego sets
Thanks, I do want POTC ships, but they are crazy expensive. I did get one and it should arrive next week. Might be awhile until I get another one, but I do want the Black Pearl.
@@alexnunes I got the first wave of pirates of the Caribbean at a yard sale in like new condition with boxes and instructions, I will never find such a great deal like that again
I hate how Lego usually cheats out on these ships and they usually end up looking unfinished such as this one (barracuda bay and imperial flagship obviously exception)
Hi Alex, nice Mod, but this Modern Windows behind the stairs dies mit fit into this old ship. I would take an old 4x3x1 window Like in the Captains cabin or i would Close IT with Red Bricks. Regards A.T.
Alex Nunes you can have it close by the beach and 3 construction vehicles will pull it into shore the pirates will be at the state penitentiary for lots of robed money, valuables, and lots of procession of murdering the jr CEO of the city, robbing many county banks, assault on a VIP, 5 times of murder on a judge, and more the assistant is being executed next week some were told to community service for life, the others had prison sentences up to life and 7 had execution sentences. He will be at court tomorrow. They were goin to send the ship to Port Colborne, Ontario for scrapping. The city bought the ship for beach docking before planning for making it a museum ship at the docks or at the River summit. The ship at the dicks was going to be operational but the parts are nowhere to be found. So it will be at a dock with stairs for workers and dockworkers to look at it. The brick bounty ship was beached for 200 years and tugboats were going to tug it into the sea and they sent two more tugboats to take it to the docks they used hammers and axes people will be taking videos and photos and the news are goin as well as the workers releasing her from the beach sideways.
The original set is the laziest set I’ve ever seen from LEGO. The color scheme is obnoxious, the design is a dumbed down version of Brickbeard’s Bounty from 2009, and even the name of this set is a rip off. It’s as if LEGO employed Lepin to create this copy. I would’ve completely lost faith in LEGO Pirates sets if they didn’t release the Pirates of Barracuda Bay last year.
Beautiful MOC. Well done! Much better than the original model!
Great modification. I love it when older sets get upgraded!
Nice set
I received the 31109 set as a gift from my wife. That ship looks sooooo good.
It has similarities with this one.
Yo-ho yo-ho, a pirate's life for me! Love this, you made the ship look a whole lot better
Dead Ships tell no tales
Nicely done Alex. I've been into ships since I got back into lego and my collection has doubled this year too
Nice!
@@alexnunes I really like the details you added as you beefed up the original design. Do you plan on building up the 3 in 1 as well?
My guess is that the new ship is 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush. It’s a wonderful unique set that you definitely should include in your fleet!
I like how they place the treasure it is genius
Are you waiting for the last ship called Pirates of the Caribbean 4184? If so, that must cost you a little fortune. Nice pirate ship collection.
What an original name

He only named it the Brick Bounty because he modified the Brick Bounty LEGO set to make the MOC, so he kept the name
Randomguy 101 I am not offending him... I am offending LEGO
@@DZstudios. oh ok
@@DZstudios. no worries, I picked up on what you were putting down! ;)

Yeah, I agree with you. The bow doesn't look great.

Your improvements actually made it look a lot better. Great work on that! 👍
Nice collection of ships. Very good MOC/improvement.
Well Done! I'm Proud of you!
Lord of the Rings Ambush ship? The new additions you made look fantastic!
I think it would be a good basic design for Captain Hook’s ship, I’m surprised that nobody has made a moc of it. Love the modifications to the brick bounty.
You fixed the main problem of how skinny the ship was
Looking forward to your queen Ann’s revenge ship build, review and placement. I built it back in 2012 and loved it. There is definitely room for improvement so hope you modify it too
It's a great looking ship as is, but I'll give it a shot.
I bet it's the Black Pearl the fastest ship in the Caribbean and the ship that has survived through the series it went to the locker and back twice And was confined in a bottle I look forward to the 6th and final movie pirates of the Caribbean revenge of the crackin
Great moc yet again! I will soon be getting the pirates chess set and the creator pirate ship for a brickfilm.
My guess is also 4184 Black Pearl as your next ship.
It’s pretty cool
Hey Alex, other then the sink, I think you did a great job with the moc. Looks really good.
thanks, might ditch the sink.
Got two of them-made the ship extra big

The one you have on the way is surely a Black Pearl!
Neat!

according 2 sea of thieves a 4 man crew is over enough to operate a brigantine such as this
That's great to know. Thank you!
We need more imperials
Yes, we do!
Queen annes revenge
How long did it take from changing the original Brick Bounty into it's MOC?
I'd say I spent a good 2 hours on it.

Thanks for that tip. I'll see if I have those windows.
Can you make Instructions for the MOC? (I have the set to!)
I think this piece would work really great to up-brick the front: brickset.com/parts/6109320/stern-12x10
Good call, that would fit the bill nicely.
New ship.... you didn’t go and get the imperial flag ship did you?
I wish I did. That one has eluded me for now.
Pirates of theb caribbbean lego sets
Can you rank all of your ships?
Yes, but I'll wait for the collection. To grow a bot more
Will you display it at the beach
Might be a tight fit there
