Your video helped me a lot, I actually broke the clip that connects to the bulb, which I'll be replacing next week. The light still work though, thank goodness.

Why did you change the oring?
Just did this on my moms malibu. Didnt' need to remove intake though. I left the dust cover off.
does adding these void out the factory warranty?
Help, I replaced the break/turn signal to LEDs and I have hyperflashing when doing turnsignals I tried to find a relay but it does not have one, so idk what to do now :( needs more resistance to trick the computer
There's some bulbs on Amazon that comes with the resistor

I’m a single woman and I followed the tutorial I got the passenger side off but I cannot get that round thing off of the driver side any suggestions to loosen it

Yes I ordered them a few weeks ago and just received shipping notification email so they should arrive within the week hopefully.
FapMonsterGabe i ordered two sets of the same bulbs, one for my 18 Malibu headlights and a pair for my truck foglights......looks like the foglights are not going fit so I have a set if you are interested that would probably fit your 17 Malibu......

FapMonsterGabe yes because I have aftermarket fog light housing on my truck thinking that these would fit the housing but the lights stick out too far, however they fit perfectly on my Malibu. Feel free to call with any questions 860-977-6518.

Honestly i find it unsafe for other drivers to have all these crazy lights , I know it affects me when driving and it doesn’t look any better these lights are even sold in the swap meets super cheap
Having you drove a 2016 Malibu? Lighting is horrible. Im old like you, saying the lighting issues. I have a 2016 Malibu stock headlights suck. My 2020 Traverse has a stock brightness that helps.
