Soo cool never heard of FogPonics before. Weird side thought, I wonder if it’s help adding in a grounded copper wire . I saw this dude Weedy Gardens post a video , very neat time lapse showing the difference of a plant that’s plugged into the earth .
i know that if you make a loop with the copper wire, it will divert crawling slugs and other harmful insects from getting to your plants, Seems it
produces a mild electronic shock to them

The best time to take cuttings from a clematis for propagation depends on the type of clematis and the specific method of propagation you're using. Here are general guidelines:
Softwood Cuttings:
Best Time: Late spring to early summer (May to June).
Details: This is when the new growth is still soft and green but mature enough to handle cutting. Softwood cuttings tend to root quickly.
Semi-hardwood Cuttings:

yes they do but some of them are non fertile. Most clematis bloom all summer long.
It greatly depends on the variety and your climate. My parents live in zone 5 and they have several varieties all are spring-beginning summer blooming; They have lost some due to extreme weather conditions..triple digits in summer to negative 15-30.
I am zone 8b 4 true seasons and although I do not remember the varieties-I do keep my plant tags in my binder to refer back to. I also think it depends on the age as I have noticed as soon as they hit the 3 year mark they start to bloom profusely during the growing season. Once they are established they do not like to be moved so pick out a spot they can live.
If you do need to move it is best when they go dormant. If you have to move one in the growing season I highly suggest soaking it in a wheelbarrow or large bucket with Fertilizer-lome which will help with transplant shock.
