  • I remove a bathtub faucet handle , soak it in CLR to remove minerals that have collected on it, then install the handle

    I like how the graph in the progress bar tells what the majority of us were looking for in every single video about this: handle kinda stuck, don't wanna break it, should I unscrew it or just pull?

    Can I replace this with a handle or is the clear plastic grandmas house knobs my only option with the valve?

    Thanks for the video, do we need to shut off the water before?

    Hi! I have a taymor faucet handle aswell. Any idea if there is a universal trim kit that fits over the taymor model?

    My problem is the head of the screw where the Phillips screwdriver fits are stripped. Any suggestions on how to remove the stripped screw? The head of the screw is worn and my Phillips screwdriver just don't remove, turn it now?
    Thanks.

      Go to a home depot or lower and buy a EZ screw extractor,it won't cost more than $10

      before buying a screw extractor, try the rubber band method: get a wide rubber band, lay it across the screw head, then push the screwdriver down into the slot . the rubber band will give traction.

      I had the same problem, honestly I just took a drill bit, drilled holes around it and then remove it.

    What’s the name of the part that had build up and had to be removed with the pliers?

    CLR works great, no question, but so does vinegar (use the pickling kind, not the condiment type). takes much longer than seven minutes, tho, lol

    Should this process stop the shower head from leaking? Thanks!

  • @donnahall3902
    @donnahall3902 Před 2 lety

    Is this the process if the shower is not able to use cold water?

    • @threenorns3
      @threenorns3 Před 2 lety

      unlikely. that sounds like a cartridge problem.

      @@threenorns3 Would it be too much trouble to explain What you mean by cartridge problems?
