It would be really great to see you paint the three hunters and the new Elrond box set!
Thank you for this great 'How to paint'. I've just ordered the Battle of Osgiliath box. I'm a complete novice when it comes to painting so I'm going to try and follow your video. (I don't expect my results to be anything close to yours, but at least I now have an idea of what steps to follow. 🙂)
Hey brother, what was your base recipe?
Awesome :) thanks for these tutorials :)
I found your channel just a while ago to learn how to paint nighthaunts and, wow, just wow... your models are so goooood and you make these ,,walkthroughs" really entertaining. Thank you man, keep it up!
Thank you so much 😀 I shall keep it up as long as you guys keep watching!
@@Warhipster of course we will🙏
Looking forward to the vid for the evil side too!
It's on the way! It'll probably be out Thursday at 7:30pm
Great tutorial. Has allowed me to get started on an old hobby from my teens. My only question is I see you're going straight from pot to brush, as you using a wet palette at all or keeping the brush wet in-between colours? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Cheers
Awesome stuff!
Not as awesome as you though!
Mate I’m new to warhammer so as you could imagine I’m fairly shit at painting but your videos have definitely helped me improve and the colours are amazing thanks so much for the detailed videos they help a lot keep up the awesome work mate
Always with the awesome work, fantastic job. Btw If you remember me, from an old video, GREAT NEWS! I've started work on my very first terrain piece: an Algae Farm. After We're done with it and with our Kill Team we're gonna play a game to attract new members in our local Arcade (The owner allowed us).
I remember! And mate that sounds epic! An Algae Farm eh? very Kill Teamy!
Really liked this video but felt a little bit zoomed out compared to some of your other videos. I was watching on my phone so just did the pinch to zoom thing but just thought I’d mention! Otherwise, loved it.
I’m a bit daunted by the Osgiliath box set so this video is what I needed! My wife bought the box set for me - absolute legend. However, I want to do it justice so I’ve got analysis paralysis. Your video has given me the push I need to start it this weekend!
Yet another awesome one Josh 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great videos I have pelennor fields that I’m about to paint over the Christmas period now that you’ve giving me the bug to paint again 😀
Glad to help! I need to do my Theoden from that box it's been sat in the to do pile way too long!
@@Warhipster it would be great to see a Theoden video. It would fit perfectly with the Rohan Battlehost and also the Osgiliath box. There seems to be a lot of interest in Middle-earth at our local stores at the moment.
Your painting and especially contrast skills are amazing. Will you continue to paint the missing MESBG army boxes at some point?
I'd sure like to! I might just pick up the individual bits from those boxes that aren't covered by Osgiliath as a box so the Witch King, Gandalf etc. It's all a question of time and money!
@@Warhipster great👏
@@Warhipster would be lovely to see you paint tabletop journeys to middle earth!!
@@WarhipsterI will send you minatures if money is issue there's not many mesbg I haven't got and most need painting
Looking forward to seeing Gothmog next
I just released that video! Like 20 minutes ago! Go Get it!
awesome video, great force but i think the Rohan are better but im biased.......hope you do much more MESBG in the future
Great video, your channel has motivated me to start painting miniatures.
Quick question: how did you make the bases, please?
Really enjoying this video. Going to use it to paint up my force. Great content and the backing track is really good too. Where is it from?
Hell yea dude
Hell yeah indeed!
What primer do you use before?
found your channel recently and I like how you paint with contrast for people with little experience in painting.
by any chance are you going to paint any imperial knights
I'd like to for sure. I have an old Knight Army that I need to get rid of before I buy some new ones. I have many ideas on some cool stuff for the Loyalist knights!
Love it. Are you gonna paint the Gloomspite Gitz Battleforce box by any chance?
I didn't pick it up unfortunately but I plan to do some Gloomspite Gitz in the new year! Probably around when their battletome is on the way!
*makes horn of Gondor noises*
I must live in Gondor as I heard that over here!
Mine look so bad compared to these!! Maybe I dont have the patience. Can someone tell me if the models have got bigger over the years, i am painting 20 year old metal rangers. These look so much smoother and more detailed???! I know for sure 40k has got bigger, well space marines at least.
Nothing changed unfortunately. The plastic models have always been smaller and less detailed than the metal models. Especially noticeable if you compare minas tirith warriors and citadel guards. In the books you can see original metal sculpts for the warriors that look much better, but were never released
