About Me: Sarra Cannon writes contemporary and paranormal fiction with both teen and college-aged characters. 36:51 as a former trampoline worker, PLEASE send your baby girl to the party wearing the brace!!! It will HELP HER. She won’t like it, but she’s so newly healed, she needs it still when on the trampolines. It’ll protect the fresh bone.
Edit: not trying to parent or anything. I just… I know. The brace is safe.

Beautiful message today! I was on the first 787 passenger test flight. They depressurized the plane and dropped 10,000 feet. It was the only time on a plane that everyone threw their hands in the air and whooped like a roller coaster ride. LOL! Totally get that swallowing your stomach feeling. I lost my fear of flying during that test flight.

Oooo I can’t wait to see and hear more about hiring professional organizers! What an amazing dream come true, I’m so happy for you!! As for the Broken Chapter society yes to zooms- even if they’re just to connect via reading! Full moon and new moon rituals would be fun! Some kind of ghost story / mystery thing like you did during Spooktacular would be fun again. Also, glad you’re okay after the turbulence, I would have been bawling too and have before lol. The connection piece is so important and it seems like after covid we are all waking up and realizing how separated we’ve been and crave that real authentic connection. I’ve been seeing it in my own life too! Loved this coffee chat, now to catch up on others lol.

Ugh, I missed the entire stream, so I'm catching the replay. My kiddo got the "familiar" Kuromi pin, which is perfect for her because she's OBSESSED with animals/pets, etc. As for the Summit, I also found it really compelling that it wasn't about marketing or ads... as I've been thinking over my notes, I think it was pretty significant that the emphasis was almost 100% on the reader/fan experience. That's powerful.

Turbulence can be terrifying. You're right that the aircraft are designed to take it, for sure, but those drops are uncomfortable for everyone, including the crew. I'm sorry you had to experience that, but you're amazing the way you contextualized it. As Nora Phoenix would say: you're your own superhero! This is quite a threshold for you, a time of transformation and growth, and I'm SO excited to be part of this community to witness it!

Even as a blogger, I often find myself questioning whether or not anyone is going to enjoy what I write, especially with video being the dominant form of content people are consuming these days. When it gets really tough, I try to remember to pull up the folder where I've saved screenshots & messages from people encouraging or complimenting work I've already done. If you don't have a folder like that yet, I highly recommend starting one.
I think the impact that having a folder like that has had for me also speaks to Sarra's point about the power of creating spaces that are centered around authentic joy and connection, which reminds me a of that MLK Jr. quote "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that." The messages I keep in that folder are the light I cling to when I find myself back in the labyrinth of dark caves that make up so much of my mind.
And as much as Sarra is thankful for all of us, I'm so thankful to her for having built this community where so many people are committed to bringing light into the dark. 💖 Big love to you all!
I always enjoy these replays but have you considered doing a time on the weekends or evenings for those of us who have day work hours? Just once a month maybe.
Weekends and evenings can be so much tougher due to the kids schedules! I'll be doing weekend lives for the subscription readings when possible!
