It's a shame punk doesn't get the same respect as other mediums. Offspring have made huge hits in FOUR different decades now. They are in the same rare air as Metallica, Aerosmith, and Ozzy. That kind of prolific career is one of the greatest of all time.
Good tunes are good tunes. It doesn't matter if it's basic or complex,fast or slow,no guitar solos or a million guitar solos.
They bring generations together

Yes, what a great band, so long waiting for new songs to come out, really spot on that they still have their same sound. Also the lyrics are fenomenal. This SONG is not only music, but serves also a great fucking message. For the World to wake up. This song should at least get +20 million views, the deserve great RESPECT!!!!
It's really a special thing having bands that can grow with their audience - where it's an accompaniment to life - not attempting to recreate the past or reminisce about a 5-10 year period which happened decades ago as though it's more precious & valuable than the here & now.
There's so much art, soul & song to be made outside of the part of life that's angst, violence & romance of youth - & every now & then when I see some steadfast 60s/70s rock fan who listens to the same 10 albums on repeat & insists there's never been any good music since their early 20s while endlessly bemoaning the "youth of today", I just see Peter Pan syndrome.

Когда "дейс го бай" вышел, мне пару песен только зашло, сейчас стабильно песен 5 в плэй-листе на телефоне.
С "Райс энд фолл" та же история. Только "альтруизм" и "Гона го фа, кид" слушал. А спустя пару лет после выхода скачал альбом в формате одной цельной композиции и очень даже неплохо. Конечно композиции с 7 по 10 зашли не так хорошо, но с 1 по 6 и 12 - очень крутые.

I'm pretty sure Dex and Noodles will never read this, but after so many years waiting, this album... god, you did It again. Your music walks beside me since I was 9 years old. Americana was the first record I bought, and well, It's been a long ride till here. You can't imagine how much your songs helped me in my teenage years and also now that I'm turning 32 (and guess I'm not the only one here, isn't It?).
You are the reason I play drums, you are the reason I love punk rock. And then... well, "Fix you" is my fiancee fav song ;).
You really changed me and I'm glad your music will never leave me.
