All jokes aside, the downfall of Tony and Christopher’s relationship is one of the most depressing parts of the show.
Agreed
Yep. One scene that always almost makes me cry like a woman is the one where Tony is talking to Melfi about how Christopher's dad was a role model for Tony and how he hoped to be that same influence on Chrissy. Kind of ironic because Christopher's dad was kind of a loser and Tony is a terrible role model besides.
Charles Schwab over here.
My estimation of In Light Adorned as a man just f***kin plummeted. To cry like a woman?
fuckin depressing

Long john silver ovah here.. Hehehe
Chris coulda called him Icobad Crane, but he did-dent
You know, that was you he made that joke about, the zeppole content.
Hahaha. Thank you!
I mean what kind of fucked up undermining shit is that to tell someone who’s got duh duhzeez?
If Agent Harris had just rented an apartment near Chrissy and left a tape recorder running, he'd have gotten enough dirt to bring down that entire *glorified crew*
It'd be a waste of time, they never mention anything specific inside of anywhere. That's why when inside or on the phone they always speak very cryptically; when they need to mention specifics, then they talk outside, at the Bing in the closed-off cellar or in a doctor's office.
Or if he just got more gabagool at the pork store
It wouldn’t do anything, it would just play off as drunken rambling
A tape recorder left running?? That ain’t how surveillance is done!!
J Edgar Hoover ova here!
It’s kinda heartbreaking when you hear Christopher talk about how he truly loved and literally worshipped both Tony’s only for one tony to save his life and the other Tony to eventually take it.
That, my friend, is the very definition of irony.
Hey Sergio... " 's " is used to show possession, as in "Tony's" wife. Plural "Tony" is just an "s", no apostrophe. It would just be "Two Tonys".
The other tony looked out for Chris better than Tony at the end of the day.
@@imgonnagogetthepapersgetth8347
while this is true.. you sound like an ass.
Tony took it deservedly - Chris betrayed and endangered Tony for six seasons straight
If the fbi wired Christopher’s apartment it would of been end game.

Or the neighbor's.
They could of wired the H that would be the trick.
Wired the natural canopy.

My brother in a nutshell. Needless to say, I don’t talk to him much anymore.
I get that it's a fictional account of social opportunism, but when chris had an audience, he let loose with movie producers and industry rap shines, snapping at adriana in public and telling all in private. It's not just the guidos either, every FIB agent hesh the-rapist and wife had a freedom to show another impression to different groups of people. I actually felt bad for Christopher. He was super loyal, unless the booze and drugs got in the way.
Pretty sure that was all the time
Felt the same way with Pantoliano when Justin was in the hospital even when Ralph was a being a dick lately.
Put on an Emmy-caliber performance. Literally
I didn't feel badly for him. His undoing was his own fault. That's the ironic part. Tony was hell bent on setting him up for life. All Christopher had to do was have patience and focus. Tony is right. Christopher kept fucking up and not taking responsibility. He didn't take his role seriously and because of that, he didn't make it.
Super loyal???? He’s constantly bad mouthing tony behind his back how’s that loyal?
chris once again being the most realistic and relatable character on this show
It weird how I see the exact opposite. The only one less believable is the Adriana character. Theres no way a woman like her would be with a sniveling junkie like Christofuh.

@@AreaS4channel you're talking about da boss of this family
Chris is the most tragic character on the show: loving and loyal to a fault, beset by pride and weakness, obsessed with his own status. He has the most definitive character arc out of any character I think, but when he starts to beat his demons his reward is only more social isolation within the crew. He and his father figure in Tony are on opposing paths, when Chris makes his big sacrifice he is really choosing one person he loves (Tony) over another (Adriana). But he gets nothing from his deal with the devil, as Tony himself has begun his descent into narcissism and sociopathy. Greatest character on the show imo
Eh…he really chose the money and mob lifestyle over Adriana. He just pulled the Adriana card whenever he needed to get something out of Tony in later seasons
The first sentence of your post could also apply to Adriana
@@BookshelfQBattler True and we know this because of the scene where Chrissy looks at the family at the gas station and is clearly displeased.

Christopher can't get over the fact that Tony B gets more money and responsibility, in the mean time he's screwing up the cigerette operation in North Carolina. He thinks it's favoritism but in comparison Tony B is a much more reliable guy than Christopher, until he went off the reservation.
Charles Schwab over here
Christopher never takes responsibility for his actions. He doesn't see how he keeps screwing up business and losing the family money. He chose the wrong line of work if he expected a lot of forgiveness for mistakes. Some guys get whacked just for making a single mistake in their entire career.
The fact chris couldve just snitched on all of them and lived a good life .

I absolutely love the comments on Borkos videos! I really love the comments are 50/50 on funny & serious when it comes to Chris because he really had loyalty, problems yes. But never betrayed “the family”. He was definitely one of my top 3 characters on the show. The way Tony killed him… wow, it broke my heart! Really didn’t expect that.
I felt bad for Chrissy sometimes but then you realize how he was just as sociopathic as the rest of the characters on this show, especially when he killed JT Dolan in a drunken stupor complaining about how he was ostracized by everyone in his crew.
Chrissy is whining about favoritism while fucking up jobs (cigs), at this point Tony B was just a lot more reliable than Chris. Christopher never took responsibility for anything, and he did always get away w mistakes due to his relationship w Tony S. Favoritism was the only reason he lived that long to begin with, the drug habits alone could have been enough of a reason to get rid of him.

"I was 11...they were like 19 to shoot guns. " So Tony was 8 years older than Christopher? Maybe he's off by a year or 2. Either way, Christopher's father was murdered when he was just a baby, right? So Tony would have been 8-10 years old? Yet in The Many Saints of Newark, a movie about Christopher's father, Tony is played as 18 (my guess) by James Gandolfini's son who's 21? Maybe Christopher's father will be depicted in flashbacks...
Tony S. is born in 1960, and Chrissy is definitely born between 1968-1970 with hints given on the show. I think I’ve read that Tony B was born in the mid to late 50s, maybe 1955-57. So Chrissy might be a year or so off but the range is accurate. Not like Tony B. was born in 1948
