Las chicas de oro relembram os dias de San Valentin que passaram, quando seus noivos cancelaram o encontro na última hora. Sofia (Estelle Getty) insiste que tem um encontro com Julio Iglesias, mas nenhuma delas acredita. Surpresas sem seus encontros, as outras garotas saem, a campainha toca e é realmente Julio

Such a sweet little moment! A fun fact: When Julio Iglesias showed up on the set to film his cameo, he didn't feel ready to sing and said that he wasn't going to do it because of nerves. The crew panicked, but Estelle Getty, who played Sophia, ALSO suffered from stage fright and knew just what to do. In rehearsal, she took him by the arm and sang to him instead, and that calmed Iglesias down enough to feel better and suggest the "duet" that ends the episode. Getty was a true talent AND a compassionate person. :)

Maybe he was a fan of the show and offered his services? Queen Elizabeth II's mother (the Queen Mum) was also a big fan and even invited them to perform for her. The show was a cultural phenomenon and consistently in the Top Ten in the ratings. People were aching to guest star on it.
