Yummy! We make a similar won Ton but we do add water chestnuts chopped & green onions inside the mixture. Also oyster sauce. I'm hungry for some now! 😃 👍👍👍❤❤❤

How come the filling is so simple in this one? No spring onion, ginger, garlic or shaosing wine?

Welcome to Marion's Kitchen channel Jennifer 🥰 We hope you enjoy your time with us here! Marion generally uses vegetable oil, rice bran oil or peanut oil. These are all great for Asian food because they have a neutral flavour and have a high smoke point. And for the fish sauce, we recommend the Thai Squid fish sauce brand. Hope this helps! -Team Marion's Kitchen

I do love all your videos, but I’d really love to know what you do with your deep fry oil once it’s been used? It’s stopping me from trying your recipe It’s! Help!!!

Allow it to cool, strain through cheesecloth and return it to a sealable jar or bottle. I keep mine in the fridge but I recently read somewhere about an experiment where a chef stored used but strained oil in three different locations. The first was a cupboard, the second was a fridge and the third was a freezer.
The least degraded/oxidised oil, by far, was that stored in the freezer.
