Ingredients
Filling
1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
4 scallions, if tiny use more
3 cloves garlic
1 inch of ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar, optional
2 pimento peppers
Hot pepper, optional
Black pepper, optional
To Fry:
1 package wonton wrappers
Oil for frying
Small bowl of water
Dipping Sauce
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tbs sesame oil
2 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
Hot sauce, to taste

I have wrapped my wantons and freeze them
I lay it in single layers in ziplock bags and freeze
I take it out about an hour before I begin to fry
They come out just as good

I’ve only made it with shrimp -and there is also a crab version.
