    Now thats the way I know to make tamarind sauce.....that's how we used to make it as little children we loved it

      I did the very same thing today with a spoon. Didn’t have time to make pholourie to go with it. I could literally drink this stuff in a cup too -but that might be illegal in a few countries. 😂

    Great video! I usually like mines a little thicker and I let the seasoning soak then strain later before I use it. 😋

    Ria i have found that as i get older i cant tolerate much pepper but i am sure you can relate too, as kids we would eat pepper in everything, ...chow everyday🥵🥵 . Love the tambran chutney. Ohh you can eat it with kitrii- rice and dhal cookup

    We call it “shil nora “ in eastern part of India or sil patta in hindi. Thought of bringing one when coming to the US but husband gave me 2 options either sil nora will accompany me or him 🤣🤣.

      Hi Lylin. Yes, use less liquid and boiling for a couple of mins or until you achieve the consistency you like.
