Here is a tip I just heard from a UK beauty journalist. When you have any excess cream on your hands, rub it into your elbows. An neglected area that shows ageing. I am 50 but I am still going to try it. It’s never too late 😂.

My hair has naturally very tight ringlets. If it’s raining (which is most of the time in England!) It sort of shrinks in length and poufs up in volume. Hence my friends call me the poodle!

have you ever tried old fashioned hot rollers? you may like the results. have you ever tried Shiseido facial cotton? I adore them. the best cotton ever. yes, it's pricy for cotton but no lint, super soft, the product doesn't leak through but it holds the product in.
Happy Valentine’s Day. Just wanted to share I’ve recently discovered a new sunscreen from CVS it’s the clear zinc lotion and it’s only 4 dollars. I absolutely love and it doesn’t leave a white cast if you’re ever looking for a different option.

I’ve had a little bit of a shitty day but it’s decently okay. Couldn’t go out with my family for Valentine’s Day but I got food from Buffalo Wild Wings earlier so it’s okay. And I got myself a small teddy from Target with the Reese’s mini peanut butter cups in the pouch. My mom always got that for me every V’ Day but I got it myself from her side😁I thought I was going to study for my midterm but I’ll make it up tomorrow by studying 2 chapters instead of 1. I’ll just finish copying slides from social psych into my notebook

I am a hairdresser and you did everything just fine. You should invest in a good texturizer. Also using a mousse when its wet helps. You can also ask your hairdresser to texture your hair with special scissors. I have curly hair and it helps create a cleaner shapely curl.

This look is so pretty!! Just a thought though, could using a new mascara wand after applying an old one transfer any bacteria into the new tube? Maybe pick up disposable mascara wands on Amazon for the older one! I got a pack of a few hundred for less than $10 for when I use castor oil 😊

I recently switched to washable makeup removal pads. I bought 2 sets of different brands on
amazon and they are awesome. They come with their own mesh bag so you can collect the dirty ones there and throw them in the washing machine. I guess I wanted to help the environment a little more ;)
I LOVED IT cosmetics- their bye bye undereye concealer was perfection- HOWEVER, no preaching here, just my opinion: they are not a cruelty free brand :( (or vegan) so I stopped using their products.
By the way, thanks for the tip on the eyebrow pencil from elf (I saw you mentioned it on another video). I use a few of their products but had never tried their eyebrow pencils... I also feel that it is a product the we use a lot and daily so it finishes very quickly.

how are you able to scoop lip gloss, lotion and things like solid perfume with long nails? that's my problem bc I dont like getting the product stuck under my nails.
If I have to scoop something I used the back of my nail so it doesn't get under. Hate when that happens! Much prefer non-scooping products.

The video where you talk about your shower routine with the chair and the robe.. and everything you do to make your shower routine more lux and spesh, i literally got a shower chair and robe and one of those cute headbands to use during makeup/skincare because of you. I also got wayyy more into candles and just doing small kind gestures for myself.. so thank you.. you have helped me and my mental health more than you will probably ever know. Charlotte I meant to ask what are your thoughts about organic cosmetics such as paraben free and sulfate free, etc? I know you eat very clean, organic and healthy foods. I only ask because I’m diligent about only getting organic cosmetics.
I try to be aware of that but I haven't yet committed to 100% organic cosmetics... Hope to get there one day!
I totally agree about not having the "demarcation" lines (especially under the chin) but how do you keep the makeup off your clothing? I like to wear white blouses and other lighter colored clothing but when I undress in the evening, YIKES! Makeup all over the collars. And don't even get me started on turtlenecks. Makeup rubs off on my cell phone too when it's up to my ear. What do you recommend to fix this problem?
When I take shirts off I try to keep the collar away from my face, or if it's too tight I will place a folded Kleenex around the collar to protect it as I remove it. As for the phone...the only solution I know is to clean it periodically throughout the day / use speaker phone when you can!

Do other people wipe off the excess mascara from the wand or is it just me? It always seems like too much and definitely clumping if I don’t.
I cringe when people put foundation on their neck, beneath the chin is as far as you need to go if you ask me cause I hate when foundation gets on my clothes and if you wear dark shades it can be a nightmare to get out not to mention it just ruins your whole look having foundation all over your clothes and setting powder can only do so much especially with darker foundation shades but your look turned out cute nonetheless and you have nice skin even without foundation and if I had skin as nice as yours I wouldn’t touch foundation cause I don’t like putting it on or taking it off, honestly foundation just annoys me from finding the right shade to cost etc etc but it’s not much of an option for me leaving the house without it
