My husband and I got lost driving back from Monterey to Carmel by the Sea in CA and he was so upset but we saw the most beautiful views that I will never forget! It is all about how you look at at various unplanned things that happen. You have such a good attitude!

I have to thank you for your packing ideas for outfits. My 13 year old son went to DC with his 8th grade class last year. He has ADHD and I was worried about him pulling out outfits and such. I packed a few bags, one for each day, and it was a success. You helped this mom feel more at ease.

Hi Charlotte, I started to pack like you after I saw your video. I already was doing something similar to what you do when packing, but your videos helped me fine tune my own packing game. The days when I plan my outfit, makeup and jewelry for my weekend trips, I feel calm. And days I dont plan things out I feel as if I am missing something. I feel lost without planning out my trip items. So thank you for your videos, they are greatly appreciated.

I have stolen several of your packing ideas from a past video and I was very happy that I did. The outfits in ziplock bags is genius. Especially as our rooms had limited hanging space but a lot of shelves. I filed our clothes in the shelves!

Loved the video and you are not alone on your organized packing. For my honeymoon to Florida I packed for 5 days in just 2 carry on bags and 2 personal bags. I can't wait to watch the videos of your trip. ❤

I think the packing cubes can be more of a pain than they are useful. I like the way you do it better. I’m horrible at packing because I can never decide what to take and then always overpack. Lol. Isn’t leaving the pets the worse thing ever?! It’s literally heartbreaking. Can’t wait to see your fun Disney adventures. 💗. Safe travels.
My packing for CA - because we are bringing our dogs on the plane, I don’t want to mess with luggage, I put our clothes inside garbage bags then in cardboard boxes and sent them via USPS. That is my recent system. I usually pack a week in advance as I don’t want to over pack.

Hah! I have recently switched to capsule wardrobe and named my outfits! I have the Blustery, the date, the town & country, the chic...etc. I never thought to keep that train of thought going on into vacation. I am totally doing it !!!!!

If I didn't see you mention Lola and DC I was definitely going to ask you about them and what your plan gwas going to be for them while you were traveling. I legit LOVE how you pack and the sound of the ziplock bags is sooo satisfying!! Ok this might seem a little weird but I hate re-packing ... like coming back home. What do you do with your dirty clothes. I use to just throw it all in a bag and squish it in the suitcase but my last couple of times I refolded and packed somewhat neatly and that works but I’m just wondering is there any better ideas. 😊I’m a family of 6 so..... lol any tips I’d appreciate it. 💙

I haphazardly folded the clothes into packing cubes for the way home...that way they squished down well and were easy to throw straight in the wash :)

Hey I like your video and advice just use a simple soap with a soft sponge and rince it. Do not use the hard sponge it will ruin your Longchamp. 😋

You can take scissors wth a 4in blade or less, not including the handle.

It actually worked marvelously, believe it or not! No explosions and it was easy to use!
What’s the name of the bag for carry on?
Is the bag of lotion 3 oz or less? If TSA doesn’t know how much there is in the bag they might make you toss it.

Nice you didn’t bring your laptop. I never ever fly with my laptop. I figure vacation is to disconnect and live in the moment. I bring my iPad for ent on the plane and to read and let me tell you I never ever even pull out for the entire trip. I’m always either sleeping on the plane or having a plane talking buddy and let me tell you I never regret not bringing my laptop
I would say that is a modest amount of clothes for 8 days. My husband wouldn’t agree. My son would say it’s not enough!
