Wonderful video series, thank you! I live up in the Green Mountains of Vermont and finally have a decent parcel of land. I've loved mules all my life and would love to have at least a couple here. They're truly wonderful, intelligent animals. Your series is a great reminder of just what's required, and I will certainly benefit from all your advice here. I will definitely look into the possibility of connecting with mulemen near me. I'm sure it would be of great help to be part of a likeminded community like that. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Cheers!

So much information and so very much more to learn about mules and humans. Love the dogs goofin' off behind you! And, yes, Alejandra, you have a lovely smile. Thanks for sharing with us.

That's a nice looking Australian red cattle dog, a Smithfield, by the look.

Very informative info, at 9:37 to 10:11, I see a mule dancing around another mule....amazing, this mule was certainly controlling the movement of the other, without even making contact.

I would have liked to ask a question on one of your post where the comments had been inactivated, If you allow, I will ask here,.
I've heard that to the opposite of the mule, the hinny rather get the default of the two species, is it true.
Effectively, very interesting. We don't have that much mule up north in Quebec. How would they do in our harsh winter?

Mules suffered the heat and the cold better than horses mostly because of a hybrid vigor Hennies would be the same.

One of my bucket list items is to be able to pet a mule and hopefully ride one too. What do they feel like, are they soft like a horse?

Mules coats are very silky and fine...in the summer...my black molly mule shone like satin with very little brushing! She got shaggy in the winter, but still had very fine hair. Much softer and shinier than my horse!

I found that I was allergic to my mule when her hair was wet. If I rode in the rain and touched my skin, I would turn red and itch. Never happened with a horse.

How do I get my mule (gelding) to stop biting my mare (horse) in the butt when I ride her? My mare ends up trying to kick the mule and the situation turns dangerous.
