Thank you for this comparison. I've decided we're ready to move on from the swaddle me's rough velcro to either the halo or miracle blanket. I'm afraid the halo may be the only one in stock locally though. I do believe the miracle blanket would keep my 4 month old secure better though. I almost wonder based on your explanation if the halo may only be slightly better than the swaddle me - we shall see.
Thank you for watching~! we like the Halo as well and it is slightly better than the swaddle me, however Halo also uses velcro. Perhaps you can find the miracle blanket in ebay if not on amazon. Also, keep in mind, that swaddling is discouraged when babies start to roll over, and they start as early as 3 or 4 months of age.

I thought I was the only one with so many swaddles! My baby is only6 weeks old and has escaped from every kind we have tried! I was thinking to try the miracle blanket next but wasn’t sure as it has no Velcro how effective it will be. Very helpful video thanks!

Thank you for watching! It depends on frequent you want to do laundry😊. I'll would say to have a minimum of two, if the baby dirty up 1 of them and you can't wash it fast enough then you would at least have 1 other one as a backup. We used Miracle Blanket A LOT, so we have 2 on hand.

pro tip, use a thin cloth diaper to swaddle upper body (arms) then put in the swaddle. easy and helps against them unswaddle without too many thick layers. But no swaddle is 100%. Our 2 month girl could unswaddle the Miracle swaddle easily.
The miracle blanket looks secured but difficult to change diaper. Does it disturb the baby sleep? What was your experience? Thanks

What size of the Halo swaddle blanket did you get, Newborn or small? My little one is 1 month and already 21.5 inches. I’m wondering if he’ll grow out of the NB size too quickly.
