Ive seen Rob Lamberti twice and he is fantastic. He sounds and moves just like the real man himself. Rob has worked really hard over the years to bring us the closest thing to George Michael and its paid off. He does a wonderful job and George Michael would have been so proud of him for keeping his legacy alive.

Rob Lamberti looks like George in 2011 but sounds like a young George at the same time.

Ruth the answer to your question is yes he has met George Michael on multiple occasions. He said in a interview that he even acted as a stand in for George Michael a couple of times for fan meet and greet and to sign autographs and stuff like that. He is a very cool dude, and a down to earth guy. I'm friends with him on Facebook and I have talked to him a few times. He's such a nice guy.
And also george michael said in an interview he sometimes got mistaken for Rob lamberti. What a guy..so he defo approved of Rob 🙂🙂
I’m only just seeing this video for the first time, I was actually working on the bar this night. I saw George when I was 8 and have been a lifelong fan, so when i saw a tribute was coming at work i didn’t expect much. But best believe I was bawling my eyes out pouring pints and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Rob does an amazing job at keeping George alive, and even though I’m still only young he was my hero and his death affected me greatly. I hope Rob’s still working in ten years so I can hopefully have him amaze me the same way at my wedding one day. ❤️

i have to admit this man does a GREAT job at impersonating the great GEORGE MICHAEL , his voice is very similar and right in synch with the song itself...xellent work ROB LAMBERTI , I EVEN WOULD of enjoyed being present at your performance, not having had the chance to see the real thing.

Rob Lamberti has to come back to NYC, Please! I’ve seen most of the tributes on CZcams and this guy is, by far, the best imitator. He has the movements and the soul that GM had. The others just phone it in. It’s as if Lamberti has been possessed by the man himself.

Are you in the US yet?? I would love to come see you for my first concert ever, if you can believe that! But, you are worth it!! And you got the look just right! Love it. I'm using my BOSÉ' Bluetooth speaker and the sound is coming out tinty on my iPad . My Bose' plays on the bass side of songs so the sound must be EQ d too high on the EQ .Still sound great. George did use a lot of breath, hard to do live.

Ian Excalibur Don't need to mate. George's voice was profoundly unique and it's impossible for anyone to do him justice. George had an astonishing vocal range which was one of a kind. I am not saying this is bad but not in the least as sensational as George Michael's vocal ability. Due to my classic music upbringing my hearing happen to be thoroughly refined.

Saw this guy in 2016 in Manchester at a club. I walked in and thought it was shit playing G songs then saw him at the stage. I had to look 4-5 times then thought great! its not him. But the best copycat ever!

I will admit he does a good job, he moves like him, he kinda looks like him (but there is no one that will ever compare looks wise when it comes to YOG! That man was perfect the Lord was in a great mood the day he created George, I have to say.) The one thing that I will say is spot on is how much he sounds like him when he speaks. Not sings, he sounds good but come on no one compares to George singing wise. But when he speaks my god it’s perfect! It’s like he learned every word again but learned the word as George Michael would sound saying them that is what has me blown away.
Lindsay, if you ever get the chance, go and watch Rob live, it's a great experience and he now tours with Georges orchestra, stay safe and well
There is no one in the world who sings lime George as close as this guy. Rob is amazing. Again not everyone has the ear to really appreciate talent. I hope you do someday.
I know Rob personally and I have watched him in concert, and no he isn't George, but he's good enough that George had him do some PA's for him, and know one knew that it was Rob until he signed an autograph with his right hand ( George being left handed) I've seen George 3 times and he was fantastic, but George was friends with Rob and had total confidence in his talent
