George and Andrew actually went and saw Rob once and when George's record company hired Rob to stand in for the promotion of his last album due to George touring and not able to , Rob met David and he told him that George and Andrew had come to see him and that George was very impressed with him, I actually think that is how he got hired to do the stand ins and Rob had said they went well and nobody knew it wasn't George until once he was signing autographs and a fan noticed he signed right handed and knew George was a south paw lol.
@@lorettarowell8486any fan of George would spot an impersonator a mile off, he has a look of George with the wig & shades but that's about all.... I'm not an impersonator fan so I'm probably biased

I've never seen this man perform but I know people who have & were doing so way before George died & he's made a great career out of it, however any respect I had for his efforts were lost when he said he'd never been so busy since George left us.... George was a master talent & humble with it & no impersonater will ever replicate that, George was a one off nobody comes close

Until he was ready to do a theatre show that would be on the same footing as symphonica out of respect so nearly 2 and half years after GM passed away he felt it was the time ….. Rob has always been busy and booked for his amazing performance, he just got more and more enquiries after GM passed that’s what he meant ,
