Lovely to see that everyone claiming Warcry is dying has been disproven 🎉
It certainly felt like Spearhead was going to replace Warcry, with all the Warcry-like rules included.
@@earnestwanderer2471 that's just because Warcry is the best rules engine in the GW line. Spearhead could never replace Warcry though because it's not customizable & it's not skirmish.

Some great changes in the FAQ. The last Warcry FAQ was a stealth-drop without even a WarCom article, this is a huge improvement - much gratitude to all teams involved!
It's nice to see the lead designer stepped away from ruling his dark age village to chat about Warcry!
Great to hear the Warcry team has points balance as a high priority for the long-term health of the game, as well as keeping Warcry up-to-date with the latest models; no more waiting around for months to get rules for new units, hopefully!
This round of points updates were great, but I think there were a few omissions - I was surprised to see no changes for some other struggling factions like Khorne Daemons for example! Hopefully they get revisited in the next balance update!
Warcry deserves all the love it gets and more. Great to see more updates for the game!

It might be misplaced, but this makes me feel like Warcry is not being squatted. Happy to see, I love Warcry.
Can you take a closer look at Daughters of Khaine? The faction power fantasy simply is not there especially for the lower tier fighters and feel really really weak and not fun to play. Why does Khorne Bloodreaver have exact same stats and points cost as Witch aelf, but has 2 more wounds for no reason? Thank you!
Warcry rocks. When it went to its second edition I was worried it would might change as drastically as Killteam did. I was so relieved when it turned out it was just mostly just Reactions, which are great, and clarifications and small fixes to improve.
If you haven't played it, see your doctor to find out whats wrong with you. Its fast and fun.
This is a great game and I’m happy to see some love for it. Really happy and hopefully having more of this kind of support in the future.

Thanks for the update, there's a lot to digest here. I am excited to try it an Ogroid warband and to dust off my Cypher Lords! I am also really happy to hear that there are more plans for Warcry in the future - Games Workshop can sometimes sound a bit noncommittal about their skirmish games so the reassurance is welcome.

Thank god. Finally have some communication and assurance about the future of my favourite and only GW game.
Hard part (for sales analysis) is, I’ve never actually bought anything branded for warcry, but it’s the only reason I’m out here dropping hundreds on vangaurd and launch boxes, along with citadel paints!
Thank you! This looks like a well thought out FAQ. I'm just itching to get my hands on some new models to play with the new profiles. It's also really nice hearing John talk about the game, he's saying all the right things and it gives me a lot of faith for Warcry in the future.

Warcry is the best game GW has at present.
Absolutely love the update, feels worth the wait. Definitely gonna play around with the new Aggradons, that flying jump seems hilarious and the Scar-Vet looks amazing. Also, I’m curious, does the Lord of Hubris’ target have to be able to make the bonus attack for the ability to work? If not, he’d be pretty funny in a Skaven list with some Stormvermin friends
I love this update! I was just itching for sny excuse to play the wonderful Chosen models, but the old stats didn't cut it. Might pick up some more Ogroids to go with my Myrmidon as well noe, they look really fun!

Fun fact, if you take the Lord of Hubris with Skaven Stormvermin and use the bodyguard ability, clever positioning means your lord of hubris can force your opponent to make an illegal attack, causing him to get the bonus with no risk of damage!

Great update for a great game! One quick rules question which wasn't covered - for the Wildercorps Hunters Death Grip ability - does it work for hits and crits or only for hits? I guess it should be both but it isn't clear.
